This is actually my first time to give a review. I went today around 7. I got the buffet. Rice with meat and raisins is normally my favorite because it's like ouzy or byriany. Nothing was fresh. Rice with meat dish had only 2 tiny pieces of meat and tasted like they have been cooked so many times. Rice wasn't fresh either. He asked if everything is good. I told him about the meat or lack of meat. He said they will bring more. I thought they will bring really more like filling the tray. He brought 4 tiny pieces kind like shredded meat in a small plate later to me. Ok you charge $21 for a buffet and you already don't have that many variety and the only main dish is not kept full nor kept fresh. In Jacksonville $21 considered medium to high end for a Buffett or a meal in general. Comparing to Indian or Chinese buffet or Chow across the street this here is too more expensive and less variety and not even fresh. Salad was kind old. I think it's overpriced and needs to have more variety and to be fresh and full. I left after 10 minutes. He said that's it, I said yes. Nothing to eat almost felt sick from the old taste....

I've passed by this place dozens of times the past few weeks. Decided to stop by for their weekend buffet. The owner Sayed greeted us immediately and gave us the run down of his Afghan buffet (21.50).
Now I'm a frequent visiter of Ruz Bukhari as it's nearly where I work... so I wanted to compare. I think the main differences is going to be variety. Ruz has a larger buffet but this food is definitely bolder flavors. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor kick the items had. The koftas weren't dried out on the buffet at all. Instead they were braised in a sauce that kept the moisture in the meat. The chicken was the most surprising as you can imagine chopped chicken breasts not sitting at well in a buffet. Nope.. it was fabulous and had a delicious saffron flavor. The typical eggplant dish was excellent. They also had salad and pita bread.
I think I may be back soon. AYCE fresh in house prepared food for a tad over 20... This place surprised me alot....
