On my journey to find the perfect ring for my now fiancé, I happened to come into Pickett Brothers Jewelers to do ring shopping. Before going into the Pickett Brothers, my mindset was the same as if I was shopping for a car. I would be very cautious of the person who would be assisting me. Like shopping for a vehicle, my anxiety was about 100 and as a result I was on edge for any ques to indicate that my best interest was not being served. But man was I wrong! I had the total opposite experience. Tom was the fine gentleman that assisted me. I had very little knowledge about the 4 Cs but Tom took the time to explain what each c meant and how to examine a diamond to determine the quality for each of the Cs. He was able to explain in great detail, to the point, where it made sense to me. Then I was able to examine multiple diamond until I found the one I desired. I really appreciated the fact, that my experience wasn’t about Tom picking out rings saying this is a good diamond. Instead he made sure I had the proper knowledge so that I could find the perfect diamond for myself. If I had any question Tom was able to provide an answer. The process was smooth like butter. And if you don’t do butter then it was as smooth as the healthy alternative you would use for butter!
P.s. I referenced the negative stereotype car salesmen. I do not believe all people in the car industry are infamous salesmen. I believe and know there are a lot of quality people in the sales of car industry. But for the sake of describing my experience, I am referencing the infamous stereotypical...
Read moreOur Jeweler retired and I was sent to Pickett Brothers by an industry competitor because we had an estate issue. We met Tom Rowe and Cindy Kidd that day and Len Pickett afterward. We are "old school" and needed to find a Jeweler to grow old with. The results have been nothing less than exemplary! They could not be more highly recommended for all of your jewelry needs. Took my beloved in to simply have some jewelry cleaned... found a nice looking pulsar watch and a blue topaz necklace that are beautiful. I really have to believe that I would have paid much more for these two items anywhere else. Thanks again Ms.Cindy

Read moreI went in to buy my very first engagement ring today. When I brought my girlfriend in to look at rings together, the people inside the store were extremely helpful and very informative. After looked around for about 10 to 15 minutes, we were immediately seated and helped to try on various rings. Keep in mind the store was very busy and the customers were very energetic. The staff was extremely helpful and levelheaded and knew exactly what to say and how to help us. Miss Linda was the woman who assisted me in picking out certain things that we liked about the rings. She handled the interaction with professionalism and great care. Today only about one month after the first encounter with Miss Linda the ring is now in my possession, and the process was so smooth. I barely even noticed it happened. There was no stress and no haggle. I got the best deal I could’ve ever hoped for. The ring is even more beautiful in person than it is in the photos. I can’t wait to propose with the ring I got from Pickett Brothers.
Picked up the wedding band. It’s simple but gorgeous and will look amazing next to the engagement ring! Thank...
