Budget friendly! Meat selection and prices are outstanding! Produce is beautiful and a wide selection! We have a small family of three, but I could also understand shopping there for a larger family The packaging of meat can come in a smaller size or a larger. They have a pick five With two tiers of 1999 or 2499! They also have a good amount of smoked meats! With the scarcity in Springfield was so excited to walk into a store and realized it was An entire grocery store! The staff is so friendly. The manager came out as well as the cashier who checked me out both were outstanding and has such good manners. It was so nice.(1st picture)

Went back with a $50 budget and I got all of this! Five packs of meat for $19.99 (A six pack of center cut bone in pork chops, A Cornish hen, Two packs of ground beef, And a chuck beef steak)A bunch of stuff for breakfast, lunch meat and cheese, Peanut butter, And sandwich bread! For $49!!! This is such a lifesaver they Two different tears like I’ve mentioned before there’s five for $19.99 or five for $24.99 and this one includes eggs! (but I did buy them separate just for those time, as I already picked five meat products! ) 2nd & 3rd picture Every time I go there so nice and give a lollipop to my son and the old lady I’m watching! I go to this place. Have been for years. Its way on the on the other side of town. Just a couple of days ago I went there and I was in shock. First off I noticed that the owners have changed. While their friendly enough. I noticed that the prices have gone through the roof... Sure everything is gone through the roof. But I used to come here because I could make a difference with shopping for meats, frozen veggies and spices. From my shopping list the other day the price is so high they are higher than some of the big chains. Now it's not cost-effective to travel way over here. I may as well shop at Rowe's or Save a Lot that's near me. Like everyone else you get less and pay more...

A Community staple grocery deserves local support

I have been a longtime supporter of Springfield Superette Grocery store, also known as (7th & Pearl), for many years under the original owners/brothers. The new owners came in with new people and improved on what has worked for over forty years. The new owners continue community and even added fresh flowers for you to purchase, which is why I was there. I also enjoy the meat specials of 5 packs of meats from chicken, beef and pork for twenty dollars. The larger chains don't offer such good deals. If you are in the Springfield area of Jacksonville, Florida give the community grocery store your business and show them some love....
