Klutho Park is a spacious, grassy park with a wide open field and baseball diamond located in the Springfield area of Jacksonville. There are statues scattered throughout the park and a fountain as well as a large, raised Pavillion with restrooms underneath. The Emerald Biking Trail cuts through the park and goes on for miles.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Henry J. Klutho Park and it was awesome. City keeps the Springfield area really clean. The park has cool sculptures, water fountain, walking paths, sitting areas, and much more. Good place to take a break from a hard day of working.

Love this park. Nice for walks & the way is nicely shaded. Beautiful statues along the way & the pavilion along with surrounding buildings have all just been repainted.. Definitely recommend for little ones too, plenty of open space for running around.

Klutho Park hosts the main gathering area for Porchfest - a music festival that uses ordinary (sometimes extraordinary) porches as stages. The park is transforming - via huge public assistance from neighbors & friends and the City of Jacksonville. Hogans Creek flows through the park and connects it to what will hopefully be Jacksonville's "Central Park" one day. Named for architect Henry John Klutho - a man that left his mark on Jacksonville - the park is a reminder & a vision for better times in this neighborhood. They've recently added a sculpture walkway as you enter the park - curated by a UNF sculpture professor and featuring some...

This place can be super spooky alone or totally romantic after dark with someone special. Great view of the Jacksonville skyline. Rad Frisbee golf course and Baker ball and tennis courts if you're into that. Cool dog trails. Plus if you're lucky enough there might be a scruffy looking punk rocker with an acoustic singing songs to his, (way out of his league,) girlfriend under a tree or bridge someplace...

Usually I visit to relax after getting my mail. Sometimes I see and chat with my friend, Lena, she's a musician also and we know mutual ppl and have lived in same cities. There is a stream that borders the park and I watch for the wildlife (fish, crab, turtles, birds, waterfowl etcetera. At certain times it's not so busy, but an okay...
