We saw the great reviews and decided to try out a new spot for lunch. We originally saw it on grubhub and viewed the menu on there. We then called to place the order so we could just pick it up instead. The very first thing we tried ordering, the chicken salad on a bun, the lady told us they didn't have it. We were confused as this was a menu item on grubhub. She placed us on hold for awhile and told us that it could only be ordered through grubhub? So we hang up and place a pickup order on there. The order was supposed to be ready at 1:05. We had a co worker go to pick it up. She showed up at 1:15 and was told it would be 15 more minutes. She finally got our meal at 1:40. Once she arrives, we realize they missed an entire meal so she had to drive back. Overall, the flavors were lacking. The baked spaghetti just looked like it was thrown together. The salad was basically just spinach and didn't come with any dressing. The chicken salad on a bun was okay but the bread was burnt and overall didn't have much flavor. Their potato salad that came on the side was pretty good though. The bread pudding was heavy and really filling, but again seemed to lack flavor. A co worker had the wings and she expressed the same thing.. it...

I would give it and the owner less if I could!! So 3 of us purchased Local Flavor for this spot because it looks different and we thought we’d try it. Yeah except the owner, when we arrived to pick it up, would only redeem one and said the other two of us would then need to also drive there to pick up our food in person?!? Doesn’t say that anywhere on LF AND when she got there she said that it was only good on a $25+ order and AGAIN nowhere does it say that and we are not new to Local Flavors at all! To ice the cake (that didn’t have only pound) she was incredibly rude and almost aggressive about redemption!! Oh and after making her add a soda to make it $25, she didn’t even give her the soda!!!!! If you don’t want to redeem Local Flavor you should cancel instead of berating what could have been new customers. Instead you can keep the food and I’m requesting a refund of the LF completely, I will never try your food because you lack basic customer service skills and that would most definitely be reflected...

I ordered the jambalaya rice bowl and it was so disappointing. Being from a culture that eats rice often, I can tell when someone uses partially precooked rice or steam in a bag rice from a mile away. This kind of rice does not soak up sauces and juices in the same way. And it’s the only kind of rice that makes me physically sick. The whole dish tasted like they used seasoning packets similar that you find in Zatarain’s rice 🤢. Way too much salt. The chicken had the texture of the precooked chicken that is frozen. Kind of like those Tyson grilled and ready bags. It was rubbery and lacked any flavor. And the smell, is a hard no for me.
