Target Grocery — Local services in Jacksonville

Overall I very much enjoy shopping at the target, my complaint is that some target employees are unaware of their store's technology. I went to self-checkout and scanned my products then proceeded to scan my wallet on the Target app to get my Cartwheel discounts. I then went to pay with a gift card that was added to my Target app, and it wouldn't scan. I looked on the app for a moment then asked the employee watching the self-checkouts for assistance. The first thing she said was "I have no idea" which an issue by itself, but then instead of asking for a manager or someone to come help me who knows about the app her solution was to scan everything again and try it again. I had about 10 items but still unnecessary as she should have asked for an employee who knew to come over and help not only for good customer service, but also so she could learn. The better option to me was to handle it at a normal register, and when I arrived at a register the employee there informed me that to avoid having to scan the items over again the self checkout employee could have suspended the transaction, which would have provided me with a receipt for the register to easily lookup without having to re-scan. The register employee didn't know how to address the app issue, she just mentioned that she had other customer experience this issue. I ended up figuring it out by myself, but it took way longer than was needed. Please educate your employees on how your store's technology works, especially if you are going to have them work...

I love this Target at Crosshill BLVD JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA . I use the CVS PHARMACY at this Target. The staff is very friendly and very helpful to me and the customers even will help me out if I need it. It is very nice to still be able to go in a a business and the people who work there are so nice to you and even the customers are very nice and helpful. The CVS at Crosshill BLVD in Jacksonville, Florida is the only Target that I will go to. And they have some really good sales sometimes and that is a plus with me. I was in the Target at Crosshill BLVD in Jacksonville, Florida on July 15th, to get my medicine filled and while I was waiting on my medicine to be filled I found some really good sales on some Glade Plug-ins and some Airwick Plug-ins too, and some Frebreez house sprays too. So I bought a lot of Plug-ins and Frebreez sprays for me and for my best friend and neighbor. Anytime I find some good sales on stuff if I am getting some for myself I will also buy some for my best friend and neighbor. Got home & discovered I didn't have a receipt and one of my items was missing. Called store at 9p. Phone rang over 20 times before being answered. I was transferred to service desk and the phone rang until it went back to operator. She transferred me to desk again and the phone was answered because she paged someone. I explained the situation and asked if anything could be done without my receipt. She said they could probably pull a copy of my receipt but she would have to put me on hold while she checked with her manager. She came back on line and asked me a few more questions and then put me on hold again. She came back on the line and said her manager was going to help me and she put me on hold again. Manager came on line and acted as if he had no idea why I was calling. I asked him if I was going to have to explain the whole story again and if that was the case then I would just forget about it. I hung up. I called back and told the operator that I just wanted the store manager's name and I didn't want to talk to anyone. She said no that she would have to connect me to the manager. A man came on the line and said his first name. I said I don't want to talk to you but would you please just give me the name of the store manager? He said "I'm the store manager. My name is _."
