ALDI — Local services in Jacksonville

We enjoy the great prices at Aldi! Don't forget to bring a quarter ( to use a cart you will need it, don't worry - you'll get it back!). Also keep your reusable bags in the car :) ( unless you want to spend a few dimes on bags) these are the two biggest also shopping tips. Once you have this down it's a breeze! ( I thought it was odd the first time I visited and Aldi too!)

These two features allow you to have cheaper pricing on your groceries. You may be surprised what you pay here after filling up your cart! With several Gluten Free and Organic options, I enjoy shopping at Aldi.

This location in particular has a very nice little wine section across from the dairy ( if my memory serves me right). Be sure to check out the paper as you enter for special deals.

The Aldi's at Oakleaf is one of the best I've visited. The produce section is larger and very well stocked. The meat department was also fully stocked which is far different from my local Aldi's that's normally thinly stocked by Friday afternoon. Another example was that my local Aldi's was out of stock on their basic mac-n-cheese, but this store was loaded! The aisles are also bigger and can easily accommodate two wide carts and provided better social distancing. Other notable differences were in the cheese and prepared foods section. At my Aldi's, the product is located behind glass doors, here they were open and easily accessible, making it simpler, more convenient and friendlier to get what you need. A little further away, but...

I've been to Aldi 3 times since moving to Orange Park. I hv to be honest about customer service there. I carefully stack my groceries in my cart and then on the belt. The cashiers grab each item and LITERALLY THROW, THROW...them, into another cart! Pilling them carelessly as fast as they can. A checker says, its how we're trained.

There is damaged boxes, smashed pastries, expired products, the cereal is hard in the boxes and rotted produce left on shelves, left unattented in the produce dept. They're short staffed too! Your never greeted by any staff or by anyone and management is no where to be seen. Absolutely unacceptable. I choose to go bk to my regular places to save money and hv shopping carts n bags free...
