Tight, tiny, smelly, & old store but they cram as much stuff as they can in there. They carry many of the daily cooking essentials for the Asian food cooks in the area. I've been spoiled living near HUGE ethnic grocery stores (the size of Publix, Safeway, Kroger, Lucky, Aldi....) so this stop was disappointing. The owner/manager seemed engaging & knew many regular shoppers, however, her rushed cashiering led to a 40 cent overcharge on a 4.50 item. Seemed "innocent" enough (she was entering info from memory vs. looking at the price sticker🤯), HOWEVER, I can see how such "innocent" mistakes are actually beneficial to her pocketbook since most customers won't notice and/or won't feel comfy to address the error. Read moreMy wife loves this place as they have some items apparently unavailable at other stores or items at lower prices. We’ve also had a good experience with the previous owner when they were at the old location — which was closer to us. The new location is out of our way, so we aren’t able to visit as much these days.
EDIT: Really loving the new place! Previously I was always afraid to join my wife inside coz well — the overwhelming smell hahah — but the new store somehow has found a way to remedy this — and in addition they have fresh seafood! This store is really shaping...
