Hello my name is Bruce. And I am here to share my experience shopping at American signature furniture. About a year and a half ago I moved from Texas to Jacksonville Fl. While I was waiting for the completion of my home to be built my sister took me furniture shopping. She took me to four different furniture stores. A couple had nice furniture but wasn’t in my price range.the other two, the furniture wasn’t that appealing to me. So we went to American furniture where we were greeted by this sales lady named Carmela. We informed her that we were just browsing. So she gave me her business card and told me if we had any questions to let her know. So myself and sister looked at living room, dining room, and bedroom sets. The prices were in my price range and I really liked the furniture. So I got with Carmela and informed her that I was interested in buying some furniture. She gave me multiple options and suggestions. Also different payment plans. She also told me on ways I could save money on sales and coupons the store offered. So after I picked out the furniture I decided on, a few weeks passed and I decided I wanted to change the bedroom set I picked out. I informed Carmela and she made the change with no problem. I’ve made changes 3 or 4 times. Carmela made it happen. Always with a smile on her face. Carmela is a wonderful saleswoman that’s very professional and knowledgeable about her job. I also consider her a friend. I have an American signature home, and I thank you Carmela for all your help and understanding. Read moreMy wife and I were tossing the idea of new furniture back and forth for a few weeks, and decided to stop in to American Signature by the old Regency Mall while we were running errands. We stopped at another store prior, and the sales people kept following us around. For the record, I can't stand that. I felt like my wife and I couldn't discuss the pieces, what we thought, what we liked, pricing. At any rate, we got out of there. Not going to name that place, since it's not really relevant to this review.
We were actually going to head to another store, but remembered American Signature was located pretty close, and we were passing it to go to our next destination. So we stopped in, and we were greeted by Camela Rapasky. She was sweet, informative, friendly, personal, and not pushy at all. She gave advice, knew her products well, and gave us some great options. I didn't feel at any point being pressured into a purchase I wasn't prepared to make, and she didn't follow us around the store. Her approach is more like a waitress, checking in on us every so often to see if we had questions or liked anything. I really appreciate that type of approach.
We really liked a certain piece, and worked out a good deal. We ended up checking out one other store on the way back home, and ultimately decided that American Signature was the better deal. We finalized the purchase today (on a Monday) and delivery will be on Friday. I don't think I've ever had furniture delivered that quickly, so we're going to have to hustle selling our existing furniture.
