We purchased a floor model of the Taylor King sectional from Jacksonville Furniture Mart in September 2024, spending over $11,000 on what was supposed to be a high-quality, performance fabric couch. We also added the Guardsman warranty, as strongly recommended by the salesperson.

Instead, we quickly discovered a major issue—the fabric acts like Velcro, attracting lint from clothes, the blue coloring of jeans stains the fabric, dust and dirt from clothing that embeds itself, making it nearly impossible to clean. This is especially frustrating because the couch is rarely used, sitting in an area without a TV or heavy foot traffic.

We immediately contacted the designer and the store, and at first, they reassured us, promising to take care of it in one of a variety of ways. However, after multiple follow-ups, progress stalled. Instead of honoring their commitment, they became sarcastic and dismissive, even going so far as to suggest we simply didn’t know how to care for luxury fabric – essentially blaming us. Looking back, it's telling that all their promises were made over the phone and never documented in email.

Eventually, they had the manufacturer take a fabric sample but claimed there was nothing wrong. When we followed up with Furniture Mart about next steps, they refused to replace or exchange the fabric, leaving us with no resolution.

For a high-end purchase, we expected both quality and customer service to match the price. We actually love the couch and were hoping to get new fabric on it, even in the same color, not even a refund! Instead, we’re left with an overpriced couch that looks filthy and a company that makes empty promises—only to disappear when it’s time to take...

About 20 years ago, I purchased from Furniture Mart a most beautiful, imposing sofas/love seat set for our den. To this day it still looks as new as it did when I purchased it. It’s been well used and well-loved, no sagging, no worn-out fabric, despite daily use, family gatherings, grandchildren, parties, you name it..

However, circumstances have changed. I need to downsize, and sadly my large, beloved den set just won’t fit . I remembered the quality furniture sold by Furniture Mart and the very helpful staff, who helped me at that time, and this brought me back to Furniture Mart last week, in hopes to find another perfect fit.

I found the store to still have the same, large, inviting, clean and organized showroom, offering a huge selection of everything to help make a house a home. As I circled through the store, I was greeted by the most gracious and helpful young lady by the name of Lauren Price, who, after intently listening to what I was looking for, took charge and lead me through every isle in the store, pointing out possibilities. Not once, but twice ! And, eventually, a third time - back to the several love seats and swivel chairs I was considering, to compare. And her patient, cheerful attention to detail continued throughout the process of picking out materials and other details. She was a joy to work with!

My husband and I just closed on a second homein Ponte Vedra and was in need of furniture. It has been such a challenge to get furniture right now - which is even harder when you are not living in the space full time. So I was so thrilled when we visited there and found that pieces they sell are primarily in stock. I was looking for a chest of drawers and as I was searching I stumbled upon a bed I have been trying to source for a month. Every place I went to had it back ordered 2 or more months. I was so happy when Lauren told me it was in stock and could be delivered within a week. We also purchased a mattress, box spring and 2 STUNNING canvas prints. The place has beautiful stuff, knowledgeable staff with deep expertise (Lauren) and seems responsive and easy to work with (I just purchased yesterday - fingers crossed!). Also, sales people are not pushy at all - they don’t hover which is so nice

Finally I should note that I saw another bed and was trying to decide between the one I ultimately got and another bed. Lauren was honest about some of the cons of the other bed- despite the fact that is was more expensive and she could have made more money by recommending that one. This signals to me that this place looks for long term relationships
