Went to Best Buy on Sunday. The store was pretty dead and it took us 10 minutes to hunt down someone who could help us after walking around the appliance section for over 20. We wanted to basically buy a full kitchen set. Dishwasher, microwave, fridge and stove. We initially ended up leaving with nothing due to the lack of customer service. After we had found someone to assist us they had to get the manager which took another 20 minutes. He walked over did not even acknowledge our existence typed some things into the computer and left without even saying a word to us. His name is Rodrigo. We left disappointed to think about the purchase and I later called back into the store to try and talk to him. Lucas took a message and promised a call back. Two hours later and no call back I followed up with the store to see if he was available to be hung up on by Lucas. At that point I became frustrated and called back spoke to Shirley who did not want to provide the persons name who hung up on me. I decided the appliances were a good deal and despite the horrible customer service we drove back across town to purchase the stove and microwave. As soon as I walked in Rodrigo was standing near the front talking to another employee and denies he ever got the message to give us a call back. I personally believe that he was lying and is just a lazy manager who does not care about customers. I asked him to help us with the purchase and he said he would send someone over. He sends a sales person over knowing he was going to need to authorize an override since the price increased from the ticket and we had to wait again. We left with the stove and microwave. We thought about purchasing the dishwasher over night and my boyfriend decided to go up there and buy the dishwasher after work. He was just there again for another 30 minutes and no one offered any assistance again. I absolutely would not recommend purchasing from this store if possible. Horrible customer service and lack of concern from management. Will be posting this review on whatever other platforms I can find...
Read moreWORST costumer service I had ever experienced at best buy at this location. I will NEVER shop ANY best buy ever again. I had returned a TV within 2 hours of purchase because the screen was cracked and flickering in the center. When I went to costumer service I was told, by some blonde female claiming to be the manager, there was nothing I could do about it and was called a liar for saying I wasn't present for an inspection (claiming the TV wasn't broken when I left the store) they claimed to have done and had a video of me being there for the inspection. I promptly challenged their claim and told them to please bring up the video, which they did not because that wasn't true. I asked for a manager and was then told she was the manager. I asked to speak with higher level management to which she told me that her manager was in training in Orlando. I asked for a contact card and was told that information was posted at the front of the store. Later, after speaking with corporate I tried to return my TV to another best buy on their recommendation. That other store told me I couldn't because this store reported to them that the TV broke when I "forced" the employees to help me load the TV in the back of my truck. I didn't know I had that much power over store employees. Really the employees helped me load it in the back of my truck and didn't object to any of it. This all happened in Jan 2019, but I hadn't said anything earlier due to legal action I was taking. To this day nothing was EVER resolved by this store or best buy corporate.
So at this store I got: -A broken TV -Rude young female calling me a liar, though she was unable to produce the proof she said she had when I challenged her -Lied about to another store saying I forced employees to help me load it in my truck when they willingly assisted and did not contest any part of it -Zero resolution to my problem
This had to be the most unprofessional experience I've ever had at a store. Seems to be a problem with management at that store. I HIGHLY recommend against gambling with any of your money...
Read moreI bought a Pioneer Touchscreen Radio for my vehicle during door buster sales after Thanksgiving. It was on sale and included installation. It was a good deal since pioneer was offering a $150 rebate on that model as well. The soonest they could get me in for installation was 9 days after the purchase date. The day finally came and the tech calls me an hour and a half before my appointment time to tell me he doesn't have all the parts in stock to do the install and asked me to come in to see my current dash so he can order the right parts. When I arrive, he tells me that I need to buy an extra $550 worth of parts from idatalink maestro to do the install. For those of you who don't know, idatalink is a company that makes firmware that allows you to use factory features like Ford's/Sony's SYNC. I didn't care about keeping those features so I told him I didn't want to buy those parts. He insisted that he couldn't do the install without them. The only thing that was preventing him from doing the install was finding trim pieces to fill the void around the head unit. I offered to buy trim pieces and cut them with a Dremel tool so that he could do the install. He refused, saying he would only do the install if I bought the idatalink parts. Best Buy refused to offer me a refund for the install since it was included in the price as a bundle. I told them I only got it because it came with installation. They told me I could return it, but I already lost out on the black Friday sales so it wasn't worth it. Worst experience ever. I will never buy from Best Buy again. Flat out stole a $100 installation from me because I refused to buy unnecessary and VERY expensive...
