Terrible experience with a manager “Nancy” in regards to their so called “designer discount program” so wanted to leave a warning here to my fellow designers. Their website and another world market store instructed that all you need for the program is a photo ID and business card. Nancy felt the need to belittle me and lecture me that “anyone could just print off a business card to get the discount”. I have been an interior design business owner for almost 5 years and had the exact credentials they requested, and still got treated extremely poorly. Blatant ageism or just the victim of Nancy’s bad day. Either way I won’t be returning to this location ever again and wanted to give the warning to anyone else looking at this program. Terrible!

Also, the workers actually seem to enjoy their job. That is really cool. Only thing I didn't like, was the fact that a rainbow pillow was 30 bucks.
I will be back here every time I'm in the area, just know the staff will have to put a cap on how many items I can put in my mom's cart so I don't put my mom in 5000 dollars of debt. I did not like it when I first entered but then my mom took me to the food area, and now if I return, I will surely spend another 150 or more.

Fast forward to today and I did have a particularly bad experience. An EXTREMELY slow and inaccurate checkout process turned into three people trying to help the very new guy figure out the mess. In the end and after 15 minutes of standing there to purchase just a few items that should've only taken 1-2 minutes I just asked them to return the items to the shelves for me and went to leave as I was in a hurry. The manager woman had a sour attitude and tried to embarrass me in front of other customers--that will be the very last time I shop there.
