Cash Wise Foods Grocery Store — Local services in Jamestown

Very clean, helpful happy staff, good produce! Update: I had went to Cash Wise to purchase more meat because of the selections in my area I prefer shopping here. However when I asked the meat manager for some product that was on sale that was no longer in the cooler he said that it wasn't on sale. I said it is in the flyer and he said no it wasn't. We shared a few words and he showed me another cut of meat that I did not want but he apparently wanted me to purchase that and go away. And he refused to help me even though I was correct and it was on sale in the flyer ad. I had told him I had already purchased it previous in the week and he told me no I hadn't. So I came home and I was not happy. I had picked up a flyer on my way out the door and when I got home I looked and there it was right in the sale ad. So I called the manager, Cheryl, who was extremely professional very friendly and seem to have every intention of making things right which she actually stated. She said that when the product came in that she would have 12 chops wrapped and ready for me. As she would give me a call. So I waited and she called me I went to pick them up and I went to the meat department and asked about the package. They brought out a package I went through the line and I came home with it. I put it in the refrigerator because I was busy at the moment and when I went to take care of the meat and put it into smaller portions, I see that there were two lovely chops on top and the rest was junk. Six pieces of junk. I called and Cheryl was no longer available but I will be seeing her on monday. I had a gut feeling that I would be on the receiving end of retaliation and I was. Cashier Marissa S. informed me that we only have 15 years left on earth due to the overusuage of plastic bags.....using all of these plastic bags we are NOT gonna have any trees left.

As my wife and I laughed, she exclaimed, "I'm serious!!! I know!!! I'm in school and an Environmental Science Major!!!

If you happen to make it all the way to college without obtaining the basic knowledge that plastic does not come from trees, not only did your parents fail to teach you the most basic of concepts, but it also goes to show how desperate the Environmental Science program is for applicants.

We stop in Jamestown every year for a month while we do contract work. Compared to all the stores we shop at around the country, This is a great store! Love the new remodel! The overall selection is great based on its size. The deli is great and I love that you can pick your own hot food out of the hot food bar!! Love the new BIG salad bar Also love almost every product labeled “Four Brothers”. The produce is fresh and the meat selection is better than we’ve seen in bigger stores, (love the ham hocks!) The staff have always been friendly and helpful. And the attached beer store always Carries the brands we love at the best prices we’ve found all around...
