Camping for the night Nice stop! The reviews we read before arriving were all over the place, from great to terrible. So, we entered with an open-mind. There are several sections to the campground: some are in a gravel park area/no trees. Another, further out appear to be long term folks. Then, the travelers like us under nice large trees on either side. Green grass out the door and large green areas for walking the dog. I was a bit worried that we were on a slight hill, but it wasn’t much because the RV leveled without bringing the tires off the ground. (Site8) Full hookup. Checked out the laundry 2 washers, 2 dryers all worked. The restrooms/showers are dated but clean. We are self-contained so it didn’t matter to us. For $27, we were happy. (30 and 50 amp) water. No sewer. Quiet, convenient. The restaurant had their Thursday night rib special $9.95. It was great!Meat was so tender it fell off the bone. Read moreA very unique & cozy place to park RV. The park is right next door to a replica fort housing a gift store and buffalo feeding area down stairs and a full bar and restaurant upstairs. There is also an observation floor upstairs so one can see a large portion of Jamestown. In addition, just a short walk past the fort building, you have the Buffalo Museum, the Village full of authentic historic buildings to self tour, and at the end of the walk is the WORLD'S LARGEST BUFFALO. In the adjacent field is a live herd of buffalo with a rare ALBINO MALE (white bison). All is free except the museum. Campground is affordable with full hookups. Very quiet at night. Shania in the office & on the phone is extremely nice and laid back:) For some reason most of my pics won't load here but the...

No tv, but wifi is good. Office well stocked with souvenirs, Buffalo on premises for feeding, good restaurant on site. No fire rings or grills are provided....sites too close I guess....but you can use your own grill. Bathrooms are adequate but a bit old. Plenty of families...appears to be a full-time and full-season favorite. Just a weekend stop over for us...Walmart and theatre in town...we are ready for a bit of civilization and this works for us. Plenty of field area for dog walking. Very basic campground, only real complaint I have is the mosquitoes are huge...so...
