The blond lady, I believe her name was Alyson, was AMAZING!!! She was kind and patient and did not make me feel pressured. She helped me find the dress of my dreams, but unfortunately, the rest of the crew was extremely rude, and very pushy, and in a hurry.

The owner kept trying to push me to purchase a the dress 2 sizes too big, so that her Mother could make money off of the alterations. Eventually, she agreed to “try to find” me a smaller size, and said she’d text me…I never heard back from her.

There was another lady working who gave me several hard eye rolls, and rude remarks throughout my visit…I couldn’t believe it!! I’d been to several bridal shops about this was the first time I was treated so poorly!

Luckily, I got the name of the designer from the tag on the dress. When I researched it, I discovered that the same dress was available, online, and at several other bridal shops, for $150 less!!

I ended up purchasing it from Patricia’s Boutique in Brooksville. Skip this stop, and go to Patrticia’s, instead!!!! They have better prices and their entire crew consists of nothing but kind hearted people, who make you feel not only welcomed, but loved!

To the blond lady who was initially helping me, thank you for helping me find the dress of my dreams!!!! I hope that you find a place to work that better suits your wonderful personality and kindness....

After being treated very rude by another bridal shop I had an appointment with, me and my 8 guests came to Maria's with no appointment. One of my bridesmaids recommended Maria's and I'm so glad she did! I called first and told them what happened with the other place and that there were 9 of us and I was really hoping to be able to go dress shopping because I had bridesmaids here from out of town this weekend. They told me to head over and they would help us out. When we got there, I knew they had another appointment so I wasn't expecting one on one care. But they got right on it. They accommodated all my guests, helped me pick out my dresses to try on, listened to what I wanted, and made all of our experiences awesome! I did say yes to a beautiful dress here yesterday! And I have to say, my crowd was a bit overwhelming and Victoria (my consultant) was very sweet and accommodating to all of us. I really appreciated all her help and all the staff was very nice. To be a walk in, with 9 people, and to be treated so well really says a lot. Also, they have a big variety of dresses to choose from. My bridesmaids even got to try on some dresses that they liked (I'm letting them pick their own). Just over all, a great experience....

I had the awesome pleasure of attending dress shopping with a friend here. Emma and Mary Lou were absolutely phenomenal to work with. They not only let my friend try on a million dresses, when I pointed out the favorite things about two specific dresses they were able to turn up 5 dresses that were perfect for the look we envisioned.

After finding the perfect dress for my friend’s wedding we asked for information on bridesmaids and groomsmen. Mary Lou offered all of us bridesmaids to come play dress up when we were ready. Having been to many other bridal salons, this was an incredibly generous offer. Most bridal salons have a way of making people feel like they need to only choose a few options and that’s it. Between the bride and her girls this place gave the impression that we were the only clients in the world!!

Finally, we moved onto the groom and groomsmen. We have some pretty big fellas in the party and we needed guidance. I would say Mary Lou was a pro and helped up come up with very comfortable options that we are excited to give a try. The groom will be coming in for a consultation in the coming months.

I highly recommend this bridal salon for ALL your wedding needs.
