I purchased the 16-piece truffle sampler online for my mother in WA for Mother's Day. I ordered 5 days before MD with 2 day shipping. I got an email that the shipping would be delayed due to hot weather for product control.

My mom received the order 4 days after MD. The truffles arrived by UPS wrapped in 5 freezable "ice" bags. I live in CA, so I didn't get to see or taste the truffles, but my brothers, one of whom went to culinary school, were there and got to share in the sampling.

My mom said she sampled a white chocolate truffle even though she hates white chocolate and it was to die for. My brother, who went to culinary school, particularly loved the olive truffle as he described it.

I come from a family of cooks, so when my mom says these chocolates were:

1: a marvel to look at as she opened the box to see the beautiful decorative pieces it means a lot.

2: If she described horseradish truffle and white chocolate, her least favorite, as to die for, that means a lot.

3: If I can impress my brothers with a culinary treat, that really means something to me because I try to impress them because of their skills to turn vegan food into mouth watering entrées.

My mom taught us to cook, but she always embedded us to spread our wings to create our own dishes out of raw ingredients, no recipes.

My mom said this place deserves 5 stars. Even if the delivery was late, the product control was worth the wait.

Imagine a place that makes chocolate in Chicago. Then imagine you are flying back home and you didn't get your wife a present. If that is the case, then you need to pick up some of the most amazing chocolate she will ever have. And if you don't believe me then ask the salesperson to give you a sample. You will probably end up buying some chocolate for yourself. Hey it's a long flight home and the airlines don't feed you anymore. As a guy, I suggest the delicious peanut butter cups and the chocolate infused with bacon. That is MAN'S CANDY plus it has bacon.

We were recently flying to Asia and my little girl and I dragged Mom over to see this place. Yeah this is a place we visit in downtown Chicago without Mom. We were both bragging about the bacon chocolate when the sales lady heard us. She was so kind to give us a chocolate bacon candy bar for the flight to Tokyo. This place rocks plus there's bacon in there.

So next time your flying through or departing Terminal 3 at O'Hare Airport, then you need to visit this place. Just look for the purple drapes or the ghost piano playing. The piano is actually in the wine bar next door to this place. I paint a pretty exciting location picture, so there is no way you can miss this place now with my stunning descriptive visual maps. Do not ever use this company! I have ordered these chocolates since the 1st time I tried them at Swanson’s Vineyard in Napa Valley 14 years ago. Over the past year I’ve ordered several times as gifts and they’ve definitely ruined the experience forever now. I ordered one of their premium gifts for my brother and his wife as an experience, well not only did the gift not ship. I spent 4 days trying to get an answer out of them on what had happened and when find out when the gift would ship. They tried to change the gift which I didn’t approve, then they promised they would work to ship the gift once they found out what happened at the 3rd party vendor. After multiple emails and Instagram communication, nothing. I called only to be told they were busy and they would refund me. Why didn’t you do that to begin with? Instead you claimed to do all sorts of things that never happened and continued to blame the wine vendor and that you’re busy? Why pretend to do something you never intended to do? Your staff is the worst and the way I was treated is unacceptable!! I’ve got news for you, we’re all busy!! That’s why we place orders early that you should take care of in a timely manner.
