We've shopped at Dieruf Hardware for years, and there's something to be said about the level of customer service with a locally owned business. Not only does Ben's team work hard to personalize service, they take customer satisfaction very seriously. We are always happy to shop, here, over many of the Big Box stores in the area knowing that we will receive the most attention at Dieruf. They go the extra mile to help with purchase selections and make sure that customers are met with knowledge and expertise. They also ensure that every detail is paid attention to, including making purchases easy for their customers. When our parents wanted to make a major purchase as a Christmas gift for my husband and I, Ben patiently worked with them over the phone to help them make their purchase from Cincinnati. Even over the phone, they were impressed with his customer service skills and the ease they found making a purchase with him. Dieruf Hardware is always the first place i call or visit when i have hardware needs. As soon as i walk in someone will ask me what i need, take me to the area of the store where i can find it, and help me figure out how to use it. AND they are competitely priced as those big box stores. One employee knew how much grass seed I needed because and i quote "I live near your house and I know the size of your yard." You don't get that at the big box.

This is my favorite Dieruf story. I was looking for something to put on my flowers to keep the squirrels out without hurting them. I found something on the Internet that was made from granulated coyote urine. Don't ask me how they got the coyotes to pee in the bottles.

The price on the internet was 19.99 plus shipping. I thought "I wonder if Dieruf carries this? " so I went there. I walked in and the guy asked "What can i help you find?
