Mexican taqueria — Restaurant in Jeffersontown

This is a very small stand alone structure (almost like a food truck) outside of the gas station. I went there late last night and got 3 steak tacos with everything that comes on them. They taste amazing and they were filling. I could only eat two. I didn’t get to take a picture because I was starving. I called my order in ahead of time. It took about 10 mins to be made. There were two down sides for me: 1. Their English was not that great and I don’t speak Spanish so it was a little challenging communicating over the phone as well as in person (I’m pretty sure I didn’t get the correct amount of change back but said, oh well, it could be added as a tip). 2. An unassuming trailer in a gas station parking lot... My wife and I had a great meal. She got a massive chicken quesadilla for $10 which included chicken, cheese, onion, pickled jalapeno, lettuce, and avocado inside. Surprisingly light for such a heavy looking dish. I got 3 tacos for $3.50 each: pollo, pastor, and chorizo. All incredible right down to the tortilla. Loved their red and green sauces. We both agreed the tacos are the way to go next time for the freshness and ability to try different flavors. They were out of barbacoa this time, so we'll try that instead of the chicken next time... Ditch the fast food chains and the other taco joints in...

We went on a review last night. We were staying close by and this food truck was open. We new it had to be good when we were there with several other people ordering food. I had the suave tacos, 4 chicken, and one chorizo. My wife had the chicken quesadilla. The food was authentic and excellent. It is in the parking lot of a Marathon gas station. We highly recommend...
