Five Below — Local services in Jeffersonville

I was in the other day & I want to start with the good! The associate Shatarah (not sure of spelling) was AMAZING & so helpful. She ALONE is my reason for 4 stars.

During our visit the other girl who worked there, didn’t get her name, she was a short white blonde lady, was very disrespectful to us but more so towards her coworker. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or what but she was taking it out on everyone. My husband & I were ready to just leave & shop elsewhere. After being rude to her coworker & paying customers she sped off in a bus of all things! Swear, you can’t make this up 🙃

I’m usually one to give grace but she definitely crossed a line. I hope it’s addressed.

If I were to return to the store & find that she was working, I’d probably turn around & leave. I hope you all know what a great employee you have in Shatara & are able to hire more people like her. The situation we witnessed tells me she deserves to be in a position of management if she’s...

Absolutely NOT $5 and Below!! The first thing when we walked in was a sale sign for $25 !!!! It was very hard to even FIND a $5 item!

And.... there were NO clerks to ring you up. Now.... I'm retired. I don't work there. I DID find a nice outdoor rug and umbrella for $5. But I couldn't find a clerk to even TELL ME how to get it to ring up.

Someone finally did come up after I rather loudly ... but with a nice Southern twang, announced to the whole store that " Customer Assistance was needed at the front!"

They were not amused. ( And no I didn't go all " Karen" on then. . But instead went with the old addage to kill them with kindness. It didn't work. They were still stsnding there all surly and offered no " Thank You" .

Absolutely FALSE ADVERTISING!!! Good old BAIT AND SWITCH tatics at its worst ..which by the way is agsinst FAIR TRADE...

Let me tell y’all… the five below bathrooms are literally the most disgusting bathrooms I have used in the longest time. I would feel better using any Thorton‘s gas station bathroom compared to five belows. No toilet paper in either women’s or men’s. The toilet seats look like a portapotty in the most sketchiest part of Louisville Kentucky. I felt so disgusted but I’m pregnant and had to urinate… I felt like the conditions of the bathroom were a human health risk. I don’t think they have been cleaned in over a month. I don’t know what they are paying their employees but I know it’s a self checkout so why can’t someone restock the toilet paper and hand soap and maybe bleach the entire bathroom from...
