The company asked for a review, well, here it is. Iāll be As honest as honest can be. This store does not deserve any āļøs. The employees can careless if anyone walks in or not. I stood there for over 5 minutes and yes I had my phone on timer to have accurate info, and to see how long it would take to just greet you. Let you know they will be with you shortly. After 6 minutes and 44 seconds no one said a word to me. Never greeted me, nothing. I walked out on this particular day. Next visit, 3 days later, I walked in same thing did not acknowledge me after 8 minutes 24 seconds later she asked if there was anything she could do to help me. So I explained my issue about the phone, immediately she stops me in dead sentence and said yeah thatās an š Apple issue, call them make an appointment and go to louisville on shelbyville rd they will fix it. I didnāt even get to explain the entire issue. She didnāt. Want to hear about it. She was looking at her phone, her text was more important than a customer, FACTs to this I have pics and video of this to back everything up. On 4 different visits there was always something more important than the customer weather itās me or someone else. Needing help. I was standing there when the guy finally came to TRY to help me, after they get through the verification of proving who you are he done this while he was listening to me about a bill issue, he stopped me said call call Apple. I said this isnāt an Apple issues this is a bill issue on my payment through ATT, he said call Apple and or call Att customer service, he said anything to get me and another customer gone within a 5 minute time frame. They donāt want to do anything. Except sit at the table and talk to one another all day and complain that the company wonāt do this or that for them. Maybe they need to call Apple about their issue that isnāt even related to their problem with their job. Even if you were trying to get a new phone or and upgrade, they lie!!!!! I went to 3 different stores from Indiana to Kentucky asked the same question about getting either new phone or upgrade. They try to tell you the latest one out is better by far, that the only difference in the newest item and the one you have is whatever it is your looking for. They listen to see what it is that you donāt like or what it is you want it for. Automatically try to get you to buy the highest one they have. Oh it automatically becomes the best because of this lie or that lie, they make it sound great to you. When in all reality there is nothing noticeable or significant changes that you as a buyer would be able to know or see, unless you were technically savvy. This store hires liers, they basically hire sales women and men, they work on commission. They try to give you a card and say come back and talk to me since I know about your situation, that is only for you to come back to them so they make money off you from their lies.. I get better discountās and way much better service when I speak to the customer service line. The employees at this store they eat bags of chips while talking to you with food falling from their mouth, then wipe their nose or sneeze and then ask to see your phone to see what itās doing, without wiping their hands. This place is terrible all the way around. The store on 10th street, those employees do and say the same thing. Been there to. The shelbyville store in Louisville Rocks, they know what they are doing, the Clarksville store by Texas Roadhouse rocks, they are friendly, knowledgeable and not out to lie to you to make a commission off you. Thatās because the Clarksville store is corporate youāll get much service. This store is ridiculous. Snobs, rude. Not knowledgeable donāt care about you or your issue or your phone. Friday February 16th I went there to buy a new phone and I was told about the buy one get one free iPhone 8. I purchased the iPhone 8 plus and went back Sunday the 18th to take advantage of the free iPhone for my wife. She wanted the 8 plus so it cost $250 with the $700 credit. The next day I realized I was charged taxes for the full amount of the phone for the asking price $950 and not taxed on the amount of $250. I called the corporate office and asked about this and she said they can't tax you for the full price of the phone and that she would make detailed notes to my account for this store to read telling them to refund my money I over paid. So I went back to the store and explained my situation and he didn't even care to read what the corporate office had to say in my notes and said I would not be refunded. I asked if I chose the iPhone 8 instead of the 8 plus would I have been taxed on the 800 and he said yes. I've never heard of in my life paying taxes on free stuff. He also told me that nothing was free and even though I was told I was only going to be paying $250 for the phone I would actually be paying full price of the phone that AT&T would get all there money somehow. I couldnt believe what I was hearing! So now I have a problem with the amount I'm actually going to be paying for the phone also! So I asked him if he was buying a car from me and I was asking 10k and he talked me down to 5k would he be upset if I taxed him for the full amount of 10k? I got know response to that! As I could see we wasn't going to make progress I asked one final question before leaving and asked about returning the phone. He said if you planning on returning the phone to switch to another carrier there will be a $45 dollar restocking fee for each phone! I left and called corporate office again and I told them everything this guy told me from the phone not actually being free and I would pay the full amount and that he wouldn't refund me my over paid taxes. She said this guy was lying! I also told them about the $45 restocking fee and she said the guy is wrong it's only $35! She told me to return both phones and to call the corporate office when I arrived so they could talk to them and that AT&T would cover my restocking fee for both phones! I will be returning both iPhones and the two phone cases and I'll never deal with AT&T again. I was lied to and scammed so beware to all who goes into this store! She said they were leaving because she lived in Corydon and the other was going home (who happened to be the mgr). I said we are simply there to get our phone and turn this one in. She walked back to the back room and they walked out and said it didnāt get delivered. It did because we received notification from carrier and ATT. I told them we were going to need to place a tracer on the phone and ironically they said wait until tomorrow sometimes they show up the next day and the carrier says it arrives but it doesnāt. (Um, I work for the carrier). We went the next day got the phone after they looked for 10 mins (no organization) and he confirmed the phone arrived the day it was supposed to (yesterday). Basically they didnāt want to help a customer who spent $1600 (iPad and phone) because they wanted to close the store 45 mins early and leave.
