I am highly dissatisfied with the store and will not be back a 2nd time. I called ahead of time to confirm the time of a PPTQ because I was planning on driving about 2 hours away to attend. I asked them "When is deck registration and Round 1 for the PPTQ on the 25th". I was told that deck registration was at noon and that they would begin Round 1 as close to 12:45 as they could. I said "Cool, format is Standard right?" Which they replied that indeed it was.

I show up on Saturday and go to register to find out that the format is actually iconic masters sealed. The person I talked to was extremely rude and implied that it was my fault despite the establishment giving me incorrect information. I had no interest in playing iconic masters draftas a PPTQ format, so I just went home, having wasted a good chunk of one of my two days off, money in the form of gas, as well as miles on my car.

The problem isn't that the miscommunication occured, the problem is that this establishment resorts to blaming the customer and not taking responsibility for a simple and innocent mistake. I definitely won't be back and if any other players plan on dedicating any time and resources to coming to one of their events, make sure the staff is giving you accurate...

The owner of this store is really really nice. Their FNM is pretty casual and based on what the PATRONS want to play which is really cool, they have great prices on their merch and a wide variety of merch and snacks compared to other shops, there is a stick bathroom door but if you get stuck just knock and another patron is usually willing to help you out.
