Update today October 8th. Still do not have my new refrigerator. Ordered it in August after the 3rd attempt to fix other new fridge i purchased in May was deemed unfixable. We were given a loaner which is sitting in my living room because they dont remove the broken one until the replacement arrives. So broken fridge in kitchen and now after about 6 weeks with loaner in living room that too no longer keeps my food cold. Was told replacement would arrive middle of october, told today after asking for a replacement loaner that the new fridge MAY arrive beginning of November. Really!!!!! They said they are delivering another loaner tomorrow to replace the broken loaner. (Again throwing food away). I'm a little tired of Covid 19 being the reason for poor customer service. Not once has anyone from Jetson said you know this is wrong, we have to do better for this customer. When you call they keep passing you along to leave another message and you have to call back to obtain any results. So now close to 5 months since the purchase of my fridge at Jetson I am still without a decent fridge and not one response from management!
1st post....On May 30, 2020 I purchased a black stainless steel frigidaire refrigerator which was delivered a few days later. I paid $811. Over the past 3 weeks the refrigerator has stopped working but the freezer over freezes. It was serviced the 1st time two weeks ago and an additional part was ordered. Last week I called again with same problem was told the part had arrived and again another service call. One week later and here we are again. Same problem!!! I have used coolers and bags of ice to try to save the food but have had to throw out at least $300 in spoiled food. So I have to call yet again at 8 am and wait till service arrives. Read moreI've purchased all my appliances for my kitchen from Jetson. Their sales service was great but I've since found their repair service to be a dismal disappointment. My most recent purchase, an XO undercounted ice machine has had to be repaired 3 times, primarily due to faulty installations. Yesterday's repair took a month and a half to get parts and when finally complete resulted in yet again an inoperable unit. I phoned the service department today to get the technician back out and was told that the soonest it could be serviced is a week and a half from now. Jetson specifically recommended the XO brand as a high quality and reliable unit. I paid a premium for the brand based on Jetson's recommendation. It is anything but reliable and I will not rely on Jetson's recommendations or service in the future. Update to the above post: I received a follow up from XO on the ice maker issue. In a call from XO, the CEO expressed sincere concern about what happened and had a new, replacement issue sent out the following work day. It arrived quickly and Jetson was out two days later to do the installation. It now works fine. My commendations to XO and Jetson's install team. I give a 5* rating to XO and Jetson who addressed my problem. I still think that Jetson's repair service is lacking in responsiveness, and as explained by the CEO of XO, service technicians are causing failures of the appliances because they are not making sure there is adequate clearance with drain lines, etc that result in pump failures. Read moreInitial sales experience was fine. Salesman (older gentleman) was helpful. Upon delivery, the men did not use a moving blanket to drape over the washer or dryer when moving them into my laundry room. The hand truck proceeded to leave nicks on my washer (metal on metal) and while pushing both washer and dryer through the doorway, the door frame was damaged. In addition, the washer did not have an owners manual and I was told to go to the store to request one or look it up online and print it out. I went to the store today to rectify the issues and the conversation was ridiculous. I had to argue with the man to get him to find an owners manual as he wouldn’t print one for me. It’s 60 pages he said. Then I asked if they carry touch up paint so that I could touch up the nicks. Nope, call home repairs I was told. When I suggested the men use some type of movers blanket in the future, all I got was blank looks from two of the three. I am not impressed with the employees of this Jetson Outlet and will never shop there again.
