Wangdu Apartments - 40 Gifford Ave — Local services in Jersey City

My husband and I are currently living here and the experience that I have here has been nothing but pleasant and positive. In terms of location, it’s a convenient walk to the PATH train (about 20 minutes) and close to many amenities (post office, grocery stores, supermarket, deli, restaurants, cafes, etc.). There is a lovely park (Lincoln Park) a block away from here. The surrounding area is safe and ideal for families.

The best part about living here are our building managers, Wangdu and Dolma. They are kind, patient and attentive, and go out of their way to make this building not just a place to live, but they’ve created a community within it. Most of the residents here are long term residents which is testament to how well this building is managed. Living here is great and made better by how wonderful and personable Wangdu and Dolma are. They take pride in their work and really take care of their residents.

They have a system in place that makes it very convenient for their residents. If ever we are in need of maintenance, there is an online portal on which you can submit and it will be looked into and fixed in no time.

It is a rare gem because we all know it’s one thing to find a nice place to live, but it’s a complete gamble when it comes to how it’s managed and the kind of community you might be moving into. I’m glad we took this gamble because this has been the most pleasant living experience...

Five stars is not enough to show how happy I am with Wangdu Apartment, especially in regards to the Consultant Mr & Mrs Dolma. I originally was interested in Wangdu because they have many locations where I am from in Jersey city, but that is not why I ultimately chose to live here. The staff made me feel at home, even though I am on the other side of the country! Dolma and her husband has always been a great help and you'll be in great hands if you work with her, but the spotlight this time needs to be shined on these people’s.

I am writing this review because my wife and I have lived here for over a 3 years. We were curious about Lincoln park, I am a very picky person and Dolmaji and her husband was so patient as he listened to all my needs and wants. If you are looking for a place to call home that will treat you like family, look no further! Wangdu Apartment (rock property) is calling! Also don't forget to ask for Dolma...

One of the best places I have ever lived! The neighbors are friendly. The building manager lives here with his family and they are wonderful. He and his wife do great work with keeping the common spaces clean and fixing anything that is needed within a timely fashion. We kind of won the jackpot when our oven broke and now we have a brand new stove! Wangdu and Dolma go above and beyond to make this a great place to live, they help make it...
