I used to be a regular here. But not anymore.
I planned my day and went to this coffee shop recently. I ordered a croissant and a coffee and sat down in my usual spot. Got my laptop and my book out. I usually spend a couple of hours here reading and drinking multiple cups of coffee.
As I sat down, a guy came up I am assuming a manager or the owner and asked me to leave as they had a party coming up. The guy offered me an extra croissant for my trouble but I declined. The woman at the counter also was very nice and offered me a quiche which I declined and just took what I paid for and left.
If there is a party or you are not allowing anyone to be seated for the time, there either needs to be clear signs or the person taking my order needs to tell me that I canāt stay. I was very specific during my order to tell the barista that my order is to stay. It just ruined my plans for on this hot summer day.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe came here for our morning coffee. We wanted to tru put this place for a while as they have dripped Vietnamese coffee.
The place is really nice with plenty of seats and tables. It can accommodate many types of customers. They have long tables and many electric outlets for people to study. There are also sofas for people to read and hang out. We totally love the vibe here.
We ordered Vietnamese coffee, Hot coffee with Oat Milk, and Chocolate croissant. The coffee was okay. The thing is we are Vietnamese and we want to find the taste we used to have in Vietnam. So, their Vietnamese coffee was a bit of a disappointment. Furthermore, we expected Phin (filter), dripped coffee, and condensed milk. But, the coffee was pre-made.
The girls were super nice and helped us to warm our pastry. The service was fast. The ambiance is perfect for studying, so we may come back. We would drop by more frequently if they do serve true...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI thought I knew about every cool coffee shop in Jersey City. After all itās really not that big. It was a visit to a bike shop across the street that led to the discovery of this place. From outside itās got a typical look but when you enter youāre going to find yourself in a very spacious shop that reminds me of how cool coffee shops were when I was younger. Thereās a upstairs and it cozy (check pics) and the barista served up a yummy latte that actually gave me some energy. When I was younger and living in Ohio I used to go to a place on Shaker Square called the Arabica. It was where the nerds hung out. The Snapdragon felt just like that but without hipsters standing around posing. A really cozy place to have meetings, sit back and sip with a book or browse on your laptop. Coffee shop in every way. If I lived in Jersey City Iād be...
