After being told by a lot of my friends that the food here is great and it's a nice place to eat I decided to check this place out for myself As I entered I noticed it was nice clean looked new and seemed to be doing good on business I approached the TAKE OUT counter where I was greeted by a slim African American female she was very nice and asked for my information before I placed my order I wasn't sure what I wanted being as it was my first time here so she politely said she would leave my information on one computer while she took care of another customer on the other , this would give me time to figure out what I wanted and it did , as I waited for her to come back , another African American female a bit more heavy set storms to the counter with an attitude looks at the register and says what's this and deletes the information the girl left up and walks away , the polite one than returns asks my information again and take my order she said they would call me on the phone when my order is done , being as I have to wait I sit at the bar for a drink , I finish my drink and notice the polite girl who took my order was now leaving at first I thought maybe she's going on a break but no she was leaving , I finish my drink and I notice no ones called me so I have wait another 10 minutes and have the bartender check on my order , he says they will call me as soon as it's done it should be coming up soon I say ok and wait another 10mins, I decided I might as well have another drink while I wait (I'm not a huge drinker) I finish my drink and notice my food is still not done and now I'm Tipsy so I approach the take out section to have a look for my self when the girl with the attitude sees I've been there pretty long she comes to me and of course with an attitude asks me what did I order being as I've never been there and It slipped my mind rather than answer I handed her my receipt right away , she of course with an attitude snatches my receipt almost as if she was offended I handed it to her and huffing and puffin she turns around and grabs a bag that's been sitting there and drops it in front of me along with the receipt
My food was sitting the whole time and was no longer fresh at all
Girls attitude bothered me
Only thing I will admit the food was great it was so flavorful it was delicious we enjoyed every bit and we didn't leave anything at all
If the food comes out faster they give it to you fresh and do something about the Rottweiler with an attitude this place will be 5 stars
I look forward to updating this review...
Read moreThe bottom line up front: This restaurant lacks good food, attention to detail and is apathetic in regards to quality and customer care.
The first time I ate here they messed up a few small items on the order but it was an ok experience overall (I would have given it 3 stars). However, after my last experience I will not be coming here again.
My friend and I decided to order takeout which should be a very simple process. It took three calls to place the order, not because I could not get an answer but because the first two calls a guy rudely and unexpectedly placed me on hold for 2+ minutes. The third time a girl answered and finally took our order, the Carvão Burger and a Chicken Wrap.
The food wait time was not bad so we picked up the food and went back to eat.
To say I was disappointed was an understatement, the burger is a false advertisement! The false advertising comes from the fact that the menu specifically lists caramelized onions, but the onions placed on the burger were 100% raw. The overall quality of the burger was terrible, it was an overpriced McDonalds burger with sausage added. Sausage added to the regular burger is not worth a $4 charge.
My friends order was also messed up. Out of everything that could be forgotten on a chicken wrap, how could you forget the chicken?!
I called the restaurant and explained the situation. One of the owners said they would deliver another one to us and gave the phone to a girl to order another wrap.
After waiting another hour, I received a call saying the food had arrived. The delivery guy then tried to charge me for the food delivered, and when I explained to him the situation he was fairly cordial. I then looked at the receipt and noticed that the order was still messed up; instead of a chicken wrap a chicken bowl had been delivered! While this lack of detail would normally be quite minor, compiled with everything else this is a big deal.
Ultimately while the restaurant looks nice it lacks the leadership, quality and care that will garner any of mine or my friends'...
Read moreLet's just start by saying if there was an option to give no stars, I most certainly would. I placed an order through EatStreet, for my coworker and I. I ordered him, a steak bowl and myself, a steak wrap. Soon as I paid online, I realized I put in my part of the order in wrong, instead of the steak wrap, I wanted a steak bowl the same way. So, I called the place and told them about the mix up, they told they would inform the kitchen that the steak wrap was a bowl. After waiting over an hour and forty-five minutes for the food to get there, the food arrives and both of the orders which was suppose to be bowls, arrived as wraps. Now, you can imagine, after waiting over an hour and forty-five minutes for your food to arrive, I was annoyed. So, I called Caravo BBQ and I told them what happened and the lack of customer service was insane! I was basically told that I would have to wait another hour and forty-five minutes for the driver to first come back and get the old food, wait for them to remake our food, then come back. At that point, I was handled over to a manager, who I told I just wanted my money back and her driver could come get the food. She said she would notify EatStreet and I would be refunded. After, we got off the phone, I was received an email from EatStreet notifying me that I was only be reimbursed for the half of my order., which is not what she said before we hung up. Everyone that I talked to, from the crew members to the managers, showed very little concern for my issue and didn't really...
