Spend your money elsewhere. Rent is equivalent to other properties in the area except these apartments are smaller and offer ZERO amenities. The tennis court still doesn't have a net 4 years later. They are consistently changing staff and rules and do not notify residents. All of a sudden it's "we don't do that anymore." You wont get notified when you have packages, you aren't allowed cable unless it's a specific one and they charge random fees. I was suddenly getting emails I had a balance. When I called to find out why it was "oh we haven't been charging you correct for the last 4 years! but the typed up piece of paper from the office that doesn't explain what the fee is for is all we are giving you." Then they acted like they were doing me a favor by not making me pay back their mistakes. I called the office before I had my satellite installed to make sure it was okay. The staff told me it was okay for me to have one as long as it wasn't attached to the building. I confirmed it was okay for it to be on my patio railing. The day after I signed a 2 year contract and had it installed, the leasing office called to tell me I wasn't allowed to have it. What?! Then they said if I paid them $200 I could keep it. They are crooks and scam artists. Since I wouldn't pay them the money, they told me they were going to remove it themselves. I have since found out through a lawyer, that an apartment complex can NOT legally refuse for a tenet to have a satellite. It is a renter's right. Once I informed them that I knew of this, they suddenly had nothing more to say since they were caught trying to lie and do something illegal. The washing machines are locked at a certain time so people who work late are out of luck. Office staff is rude and unaccommodating. One staff says one thing, another says something different. Maintenance is less than stellar. I was promised upgrades for over a year but every time I asked I was told another excuse. I had to call corporate to get my ice maker and the outside light fixed after 6 months of waiting! I would consider these the bottom of the barrel apartments for this area. I also had water damage to my apartment after Harvey. Not only did they refuse to do anything but "clean it"...they would NOT work with the 1 month I had left on my lease. It was their fault my apartment sat for 8 days with water in it and no AC. The manager claimed she had checked it out and it was okay, yet later recanted and said she only looked inside the door. I had to throw out mattresses, nightstands, and other belongings due to mold growth and they could care less. They just painted over the water spot on the ceiling and walls. If you move into this complex, be prepared to go through hell. I have lived here for almost 4 years and have paid my rent on time every month and have never had a complaint..yet this is the treatment they give their long term tenets. DO...
Read moreLived there for 2 years. Management is not the best. Over charged for an old apartment that has no amenities. They promised to install washer and dryer hook ups. They did a few of the 2 bedrooms and then told me it was a trial. Always had an old smell to the apartment even though I cleaned and had air freshener. Also a tree branch had fallen on my husband's windshield. They came and removed it before I even knew about it. Neighbors had taken pics and told me. So when I called the office they said they were waiting for me to contact them. They wouldn't even pay for the damage even tho the tree was way over grown. Everyone I had met in the complex were some how involved with drugs as well. Drug deals outside, etc. This is the worst place I have lived. We moved to a nicer apt for not much more in cost and has way more amenities. Only pay $170 more in rent too. It has 2 gyms, a dog park, lazy river and 3 pools, sand vollyball court, walking trails. Plus they involve the community in events. So don't settle...
Read morePlease Read the Book The Boy, The Mole, the fox, and the horse. It will answer all your questions about me. I'm mentally ill. I try so hard to stay mentally well. But life in general is so difficult for me. I want to apologize for my actions. Please don't treat my husband badly, he pays the rent, he is a hard worker, he is kind, fair, and patient. I'm none of those things. I exist because of some fluke, or glitch. Don't worry you will never see me in the office, I'm scared of people, I'm anti social. But in all honesty I do my best to take great care of your apartment. We keep to ourselves as much as possible, follow the rules the best that we can. If anything evict me, not my husband, he isn't the problem, I am. I'm apologize for calling you a B*%#%. You didn't deserve that. The sad reality is no one cares about anyone else. We are all in our own little world. Having our brand new car towed, is the worst feeling imaginable. Aside from the car...
