Firehouse Subs Windermere — Restaurant in Texas

Pretty good food. Just wished I hadn't been asked if I wanted to donate, to the "fireman's fund", right after the Black female worker told the White female worker that I wasn't a police officer, but a "security guard", when she could see that I was in full Officer's uniform, getting ready to take my food to eat out, before going back to work! That felt like an insult to my uniform and my job as an Police Officer! I already know we don't always get the respect that Firefighters always get, but did ya have to say it out loud and in front of me. I don't mind having to pay full price, as it is a privilege and an honor, to be helped out once in awhile. But I had to look befuddled, at that comment, when she could see clearly that I was no "security guard", if she had just read the words on my Badge and patches. I'm sorry I must've offended her some way, even though I was only there to just buy a couple of sandwiches and chips and drinks for me and my girlfriend, who just so happens to also have a Police Officer AND a Firefighter for her brothers as well! I'm just glad she didn't hear...

Absolutely rude staff! They messed up our ordered on the app by the time we got home they said they weee closing soon and there was nothing they could do about it. Then we realized my son lost his wallet. So I called. The girl on the phone was so rude! She said it wasn’t on the floor. I asked her if she could check the chairs. She said she didn’t have time and hung up on me. My husband and son drove back there and were looking in the parking look thinking maybe it feel out of his pocket getting in and out of the car. First time coming to Firehouse Subs. Excellent service! As soon as we arrived we were greeted with smiles. Andrea was very informative about what type of sandwiches they had and also offered the new promotional items. Ordering was fast and easy. Our sandwiches were brought to our table by Andrea. Both sandwiches were delicious and at a good temperature. Big props to Amanda, best sandwiches ever! We also noticed that regular customers kept coming back. The ladies were very polite and friendly with everyone that came as well. We will definitely be coming back to this location since it is close to our house.
