We stopped at Fraziers to look for a over the range microwave and a new freezer. The staff was very courteous in answering questions. When we inquired about the delivery cost and installation, it became rather interesting. Our property is in the next county and borders Wayne county. We were told there was a $150 delivery fee, plus additional fee for being outside of the county (seriously!!). I asked if that was the cost for the complete order or per item, she offered to check and said it was per item. We declined to purchase anything in the store. I want to support local businesses, and we are willing to pay more than the big box stores. However, in this case, the item was $100 more than Home Depot or Lowes with free delivery. The staff at Frazier’s was very professional & helpful to us in our search for an oven that would fit in our kitchen. Our options were very limited yet they were able to identify some choices for us quickly on their oversized computer monitor in their store (very cool, btw). Delivery was fairly quick considering the rampant delays in shipping right now, & staff was great at keeping us updated on our order status. They were also very knowledgeable about their products & provided information to help us make decisions about our purchase. I thought I'd just run in and pick out a new washer and dryer...5 minutes tops! I arrived at 5:20PM, 10 minutes before closing. Their salesperson, Liz, greeted me with enthusiasm and showed me all the washers and dryers in my price range...and she knew them like she engineered them herself! An hour later, I still hadn't made up my mind, but Liz was patient, understanding, and kind. I'm so sorry, Liz! Thank you for putting up with me!
