Shoe Dept. — Local services in Jesup

I love shopping at the shoe department but the one in Jesup is nothing like the other ones I have been in. Every other one greets everyone when they walk in my daughter and I walked in and we were only greeted by the young lady that's working the floor. It was two employees at the front just looked at us and didn't say anything my 15 year old daughter said mom what kind of customer service is this they don't have any at all. But they greeted other customers. This was at 11 something in the morning I went in to purchase my husband a pair of work boots but since we didn't get the proper help or customer service support I walked out told the nice young woman outside to have a good day and at least she greeted us and she was working on the floor when we walked past her. I have been in customer service for over 15 years and assistant managers so customer service is a must...

I went into the Jesup Georgia location today 1/18/21 and was not impressed. Upon entering the store two people whom appeared to be employed at the location. They were standing at the register area near the door talking and failed to welcome me into the store. As I tried on shoes and other customers entered the store they were “honored” to receive the welcome to the store greeting. This is not a race concern, due to I and the customers were of the same race. I was comfortably dressed, cap, pullover, pants and sneakers, I guess my attire did not warrant a greeting nor a have a nice day when I exited the store. I entered the store and the two girls at the register didn’t speak and so I headed over to the shoes that I needed. I turned around and asked if I could get some help from them because I couldn’t reach the shoes to see if they had my size and they didn’t smile or say much of anything, the skinny little girl got them down and I said thank you and I do think she said you’re welcome in a very low voice.
