Today was a super annoying shopping trip. When you look all around the area you think something should be & can't find it nor can you find anyone to help you it's so frustrating. Then you are trying to find a particular gift card or debit card actually so you go looking for another rack to check them out on only to be almost yelled at by 2 cashiers that I couldn't check out through self checkout. I am just trying to find more displays not checkout. So I give up on the particular debit card I am trying to find & get in a checkout lane. That's when it got even more challenging. The customer in front of me had WIC vouchers & must have been using them all at the same time. Nothing against a person getting assistance just part of the crazy WM Saturday shopping experience. Well it's my turn. The gaming cards were an issue. I had 5 cards since they had no $100 cards in the store that I could find. Plus you could only check out 2 of the cards at a time. At least the cashier didn't make me get out of line she just tried to check out the next 3 for me. Well it still only accepts 2. So the register ends up showing credit balance . So she goes to the office for help twice. Finally a head cashier comes & takes me to customer service. She says they owe me money so she goes back to the same register & brings me a cash refund. But I still can't buy the 5th card because that's the limit & first & foremost I should never have checked out at the register but should have been told that I would have to go to customer service. When I turned the gaming cards over to the person that needed them it turns out that card #4 had no value at all. I guess they cancelled one of the cards in error & that's why I received a cash refund. So that's the drama of shopping at Jesup GA...
Read moreI want to take a moment to recognize Helen, the Customer Service Manager at the Walmart in Jesup, Georgia. Every time I visit this location, she goes above and beyond to make sure customers are taken care of. It’s rare these days to find someone in retail who not only knows their job inside and out but also treats people with genuine kindness and respect.
Helen has a calm and professional presence, and you can tell she truly cares about both her team and the shoppers. Whether it’s handling returns quickly, answering questions with patience, or stepping in to resolve a concern, she does it all with a smile and a level of efficiency that makes a real difference. I’ve personally seen her multitask under pressure while still taking the time to acknowledge each customer as if they were the only one in line.
What stands out most is her leadership. You can see that her team looks to her for guidance, and the positive energy she brings filters down to the rest of the staff. That makes the whole store feel more organized, welcoming, and easy to shop in. Walmart is a busy place, but Helen manages it with grace and professionalism that deserves recognition.
Jesup is lucky to have someone like Helen at this Walmart location. She is the kind of manager that makes you want to keep coming back, because you know you’ll be treated with respect and your time will be valued. Big thanks to Helen for consistently providing the type of customer service that sets...
Read moreFirst off Walmart doesn’t offer Apple Pay. I use my apple wallet for everything everywhere I go. Even small gas stations I can use my Apple Pay. I don’t like carrying my wallet on me. Also I’m a stay at home mom. My husband keeps his cards on him and I have them in my apple wallet. This is a huge inconvenience and i will have to find somewhere else to shop. I learned the hard way and almost had to leave $300 worth of groceries behind. A very kind employee named Donna was kind enough to help me and trust me by paying my bill and letting me pay her back through cash app once I got home. Majority of the workers are kind from past experiences as well. It’s nearly impossible to find parking here. It’s overly crowded and can never find a cart. Usually all are in parking lot. Also I know it’s Walmart but I wish they had more healthy choices. Especially kids snacks. I wish all Walmarts were very similar. Walmart in Savannah Georgia or pooler ga has Annie’s cheddar bunnies or Annie’s cheesy smiles but the Walmart in jesup Georgia never carries these items. I have to drive to Hinesville ga location to get them about 30 min away and at that point I just order the stuff off Amazon but it can be...
