The employee, Alex ( who called himself âmanagerâ and so as two other employees, have discriminated against a young foreign couple at the customer service center. Neither of those 3 Kroger employees have not asked for IDs, they just â assumedâ that these customer-couple might be too young. This store employees donât treat every customer fairly. â the managerâ, Alex was extremely rude, did not explain the policy ( which did not exist a month ago when I was here with another group of people for exactly the same service). A pure Discrimination based on race and origin, and the age at this case.. You donât assume that someone is underaged because someone looks young. You - verify, but do not mistreat and discriminate.. After this horribly experienced, we went straight to Publix, and there was an absolutely different Treatment . After, we explained what they are here for; Publix staff member asked for IDs and proceed to service this family in respectful and professional manner. If anyone had a similar issue ( discrimination, not following the same policies with every customer, rudeness ) At this particular Kroger store, please, it may be a time for a collective complaint so Kroger corporate either start implementing better employee training or shall reconsider who they hire or promote to the âmanagersâ.. The customer service asked me a receipt .I said I don't have a receipt and can't not get refund.    Read moreFor the most part, I really enjoy my shopping experience at this Kroger. Due to the pandemic, I've been choosing to pick up my groceries versus going in to shop.
The employees are usually pretty nice and helpful making my shopping experience quick, efficient, and easy. But the card reading machines have been malfunctioning this week, so I've had to go inside to pay, which I don't mind.
Today however, an employee named either Karen or Sharon( I belive it was Sharon) did not allow me to pay at the kiosk closest to the pickup delivery station. It really doesn't matter to me where I pay, but I couldn't help but feel she denied me the opportunity to use the kiosk due to the color of my skin. After the denial, she spoke to me very harshly and looked me up and down several times.
Amist all of this national unrest and injustice, it is really unfortunate to see that there are people who still actively practice discrimination. With the protest taking place nationwide, due to prejudice, hate, and discrimination, you'd think people would treat one another with just a little more care and consideration. Shame on you Sharon! Do better!!!
