I am extremely hurt, disappointed, upset of the way I was just treated at Chick-fil-A in Johns Creek by Mario Lopez. What I already felt that was being hidden finally showed today. For the past 2 months since I relocated back to Johns Creek, I visit Chick-Fil-A in Johns Creek every day and often twice a day. In the morning, I order. Large Fries with no salt and sometimes I add a small dr. Pepper to it. On last week, on a Thursday, I drove up to the drive thru window and ordered my usual (the exact same thing I ordered the day prior at the exact same time). However, on that day, the Rep at the window stated that they do not serve lunch during breakfast. Assuming this was a new worker, I stated that I come daily, so why was I not being allowed to order today? I was informed to pull up to the window. Mario Lopez came to the window and explained that when I ordered fries, it backed up the drive thru so I could only order Monday Thru Wednesday and the other days, to just call 10 minutes in advance and ask for him and he would have someone to go out back to the freezer that was outside and get the waffle fries out. On Friday, I called 10 minutes in advance, spoke to Mario, arrived to the store and waited 20 minutes for the fries to come out.
On this week, I ordered Large Fries with no salt daily. On today, Friday October 27th, I called the store 3 times while enroute to order and the line remained busy. I pulled to the drivethru and attempted to order a #1. Before I could finish my order, the Rep said that they were out of biscuits. I proceeded to order my usual and was told again "I am sorry but we can serve that either". I asked for Mario, but could hear the Rep speaking to another female and I could overhear their entire conversation regarding me. Mario refused to come to the drive-thru speakers and I was told to come around by the rep and some other worker yells out the back door of the restaurant at me.
I proceeded to drive to the window and asked where was Mario. Eventually Mario came and I told him that I did as he said to do but the lines were busy. With the phone in his hand, he calls me a liar saying that everyone else's calls came through so obviously I did not call. I told him "yes I did call and after all this time, the fries could have been done by now!" He says that he will cook the fries but I will have to wait 20 minutes for them. I asked him why would I have to wait 20 minutes after already being here this long while they did not have biscuits to include for breakfast. They should have more time to cook fries now. Mario proceeds to tell me that he is no longer cooking anything for me, that this is private property and that if I don't drive away, then he is going to call the cops! I replied, "you are going to call the cops on me over some fries after I did what you said to do?" I said you guys been treating me poorly anyway and getting attitudes when I order fries and bringing them out to me with no smile, no thank you's all because my $2.09 is not worth your time, yet I pass many Chick-fil-A's and support your location! After speaking to the manager, he said that Mario should have kept his word. He also saw the 3 calls that I made to Chick-fil-A prior to arriving. Thanks Chick-fil-A for making me feel less than a...
Read moreI like Chick-fil-A. However, this location no longer honors "well-done" orders. Other locations will. Old Milton Pkwy does and North Point Pkwy does. Also several other locations in Atlanta with no problem. Just for those of us who need our nuggets to be well-done from Chick-fil-A.
1/29/21 - Dear Steve T. , My pleasure. However, I must disagree with your comment. I came to this exact location at January 9th, 2021 @ 7:03pm and ordered well-done nuggets. My order was honored. I returned on January 11th, 2021 @ 6:23:18pm and my well-done order was not honored. The young man who took my ordered explained that it is too much work to prepare well-done nuggets. He went explained in detail why it's "too much work." I thanked him, cancelled the remainder of my order, explained that I can go to a different location, and he processed 1 meal for my party.
I do appreciate your response, as it confirms the feedback that I provided above. However, I do think it's important to share accurate information. As a franchisee, you have the free will to operate as you please. Likewise, guests have free will to share review and patronize any location as we please. My only intent is to help guests like myself, who do want well-done from Chick-fil-A, and given that the payment system has "well-done" & "quemado" in the system, giving franchise locations the ability to place well-done orders, its's safe to assume corporate understands some guests may have this request.
I hope this provides greater...
Read moreI echo the many other reviewers in that this location is hands down one of the worst. It is convenient to my office, but almost everytime I go there and it never fails, there is an issue with the order. Something is either missing (no dressing for salad) or completely wrong (like getting nuggets instead of strips or chicken biscuit instead of egg biscuit). When I try to call the location to discuss the issues, they never answer the phone!
On top of that, the workers that work here provide the worst customer service. They are generally aloof and rude and don't care about their job or providing quality interactions. Most are seen standing around and the ones that do anything, basically go through the motions. I haven't heard 'My pleasure' from any one of them in my many trips through the drive thru. The customer service at this location vs other locations is night and day. In fact, I drive out of my way to go to the Avalon location since that is top notch.
I have spoken to Steve Troutman, the owner about these issues several times and it doesn't seem like he even cares. Basically, nods his head and goes about his day. No corrections are ever made. I guess he figures he's going to get plenty of business anyway from the loyal customers to the brand that he doesn't even need to try. Avoid this location at all costs and trust me, it's worth driving a bit further to get better food and service, considering the prices...
