The restaurant here is amazing! The service, atmosphere, and food are ALL worth the drive. It's rare to get everything right in a restaurant but Proof and Cooper's does it.
The candy shop owners are really great and when we told them we were bringing our kids here for a bday party, they went out of their way to help us figure out what our daughter could have from their shop, since she has a food allergy.
The 3-star is reserved for the ice cream shop. We walked in and the lady was very friendly. I didn't want to even leave this review but I feel like I have a duty to warn others. She blatantly lied to us. She "read" the ingredients. She stated that Blue Bell informed her it was dairy free. She could have just said she wasn't sure. I do get wanting to be accommodating but had we assumed she read the label truthfully and that the manufacturer directly told her the sherbet was dairy free, our daughter would have ended up in the...
