For years, Hobby Lobby has been the only art supply store in Jonesboro. Most of their offerings are house-brand products. They have recently moved to eliminate most, if not all, of the name brand paints they carry. I'm not a big fan of their Master's Touch brand paint. Their MT synthetic bristle brushes, however, are quite good--comparable to Princeton. Their store brand canvases are OK, though I wish they had higher quality panels. They have recently eliminated their 40% off coupon and reduced their bi-weekly sale on MT merchandise from 50% to 40%. Still, with the new lower prices, some items continue to be a good deal. Read moreThis has to be one of the best Hobby Lobby stores I have ever been in. I needed help in the fabric section so I walked a few aisles and saw a lady and asked if I could get some fabric cut. She said I will get you some help. She stopped what she was doing to help me. As I was leaving the store she was assisting someone in the front of the store. She stopped and asked did you get everything you needed and then said Have a great day. What a great shopping experience from start to finish. Read moreVisited with my daughter, the layout seems to be confusing for someone without an artistic bone in my body. We were looking for Paracord to make bracelets with, but instead of being near the bracelet aisle, it was halfway across the store near the leather working.
The store was clean and the two employees we met were checking out customers. I don't think the local stores get to decide what goes where, so I don't want to give this particular store a bad review, I just personally would have liked there to be signs or at least an employee to ask so we didn't have to walk up and down a couple dozen aisles before we found...
