First off, I will say the layout of this place is a bit confusing. Their entrance is the door on the left side of the building and not the one on the front, because apparently the one on the front is a boutique store, not the restaurant? 🤔 Anyways, that aside, I was greeted with very friendly staff and manager. I didn't meet anyone there who was on staff that day that wasn't friendly. Service was also super quick, in that we ordered our food and it was on our table 8.5 minutes later. The salsa was pretty good, and same with the chips. If you're a big Chips and Queso person, like myself, I would avoid it at this place. Just shy of $6 for a smaller cup of what kind of tastes like a can of cheese sauce that was warmed up. No actual flavor or peppers in the queso like you'd expect which was a little disappointing for $6. Their refried beans were great however, and the enchiladas were above average in my opinion, but again their queso on the enchiladas was basically warmed up canned cheese. The rice was kind of dry as well. Overall, the food was pretty average for your "hole in the wall" Mexican restaurant, but the service and staff are...
Read moreI ordered the steak de La plancha, it was a ribeye, but the steak had no flavor and very thin. The rice and refried beans were good, but if you’re wanting a steak, I’d go with the enchiladas or something (maybe they got that right, and maybe I should of ordered that instead) else because it wasn’t good. My best friend had the pollo especial, and it was a chicken dish, but the chicken was super tough, it was wrapped in bacon, and covered with cheese sauce, but wasn’t a good plate at all. The guacamole isn’t home made, more like premade in a bag. The tortillas were tough, and the corn ones just fell apart. Hopefully they can get it together and fix these issues, or maybe go with dishes they are good at, because the ones we ordered sure were not. Sad to say but we...
Read moreWe really liked this place at first: the service was fast, and the food ws really good. However, over the past several visits, we've definitely noticed a decline in service and food quality. If you get there before five (maybe you skipped lunch and are having an early dinner) expect glacial service. There will be one server taking care of the entire restaurant, and he is slow to begin with.
The food is also very inconsistent. In addition, the menu does not have much variety. Finally, they do have amazing mozzarella sticks, but they always overcharge us by $2 for them. I guess the computer pricing doesn't match the menu If the service was better, we'd still come occasionally because it is convenient, but we'll choose other options...
