I'm very disappointed with this store in Junction city. Saturday afternoon I called and talked to a man in the lumber department to see if they have oak boards. He said they carried red oak unfinished boards 8 inches wide. This is exactly what I need, I verified again and needed at least 12 feet of oak boards he said no problem we have plenty. I explained to him that I needed to verify and make sure they had plenty because of where we live it was over 30 miles. He said no problem we have plenty. When we got there we went to the helpdesk to get the ticket and I told the guy what I wanted and he said we do not have red oak boards I explained to him I just talk to somebody on the phone. He apparently called someone and I did not hear the conversation but they said they don't carry Oak I told him I just got off the phone with someone and they had plenty of red oak boards and we just drove over 30 miles to pick it up. And he did not seem to care that we were went out of our way. My wife and I were both very upset and had a hard time with the way we were treated. The next morning I got up and called the lumberyard and talk to a man there and he verified again they have oak planks I told him what happened and he said sometimes the the helpdesk doesn't know what they carry . Told the man on the phone we drove 60 miles round-trip and we're treated very poorly and all he said well sorry about that . This is no way to...

I would NOT go to this store if they didn't have the products I wanted. The True Value in Salina is so much better. Cleaner, the items are priced correctly and the staff is super friendly. This place, on the other hand, has a hateful manager and many of the staff members are rude and unfriendly. I don't know how many times the prices were incorrect, but the main cashier acted like it was my problem. It took my entire lunch to get a refund because the cashier couldn't add. Be wary and warned. You walk in there and everyone is standing around and look at you like you are a germ. There are a few kind staff members, but not enough. Kindness goes a long way and I hope this helps them to be aware of how they come across.

I love the people here and have shopped here for years. I'm really not certain what's happening but I can't rent from them anymore. In the last year i rented the concrete grinder and it did not grind flat. 1 of the heads wore faster than the other 2. I brought it to the managers attention. Yesterday I rented the grinder again and it still has the same problem. This time the concrete was softer and it messed up the floor very bad. The response was that it just went out last week with no complaints. I'm a professional not a standard homeowner. Needless to say I won't be renting from them again. Yes I understand that people don't know how to use the equipment but when a problem is brought to your attention and can be proven and your mechanic denies it, it might be time for a new mechanic or at least...
