I purchased a sectional and bedroom set from the furniture store at a great price. They said theyād beat any price I gave them from anyone else and they did. However, the problems began soon after the purchase. First of all the original delivery did not include all of my furniture, along with a dresser that had been damaged in transit. No big deal, call up the store and work out to get a new dresser delivered. However the fact that my nightstands I purchased did not get delivered at all was worrisome. They were never even delivered to the warehouse to be delivered to me. They assured me all of this would be sorted soon and would update me. The updates mainly came from myself though, as I was the one who had to reach out multiple times to get any sort of response or updates. After reaching out multiple times I finally get a response. āThe nightstands you ordered have been discontinued.ā Truly a tough break, however they were quick to get me a very similar nightstand on order. Then today, nearly a month after I was told my furniture would be delivered I finally got my nightstands. Unfortunately my dresser was discontinued as well. So instead of the dresser and mirror combo I agreed to just take the chest, honestly just to get the whole process over with. I would like to point out particularly good service with the delivery and setup men themselves though. I didnāt catch all the names of the first crew, but Ronald and Ricky that delivered my furniture the second time were very pleasant and quick with the delivery.
In summation, I appreciate the price matching and the cheaper delivery fees than other furniture stores in the area. I also understand that they cannot foresee the discontinuation of certain items. However, I should not be the one reaching out for information when I didnāt receive what I paid for. Customer service was pleasant enough but not NEARLY as attentive to the situation as they should have been. Agreeing to a lesser product (chest with no mirror) just to not have to wait is something that we decided is better than going through the headache and waiting game. Everything from walking in to the store and purchase was wonderful. No complaints. It was when the furniture was delivered where everything took a turn downhill. The two gentleman who came to deliver/assemble the furniture 1. Took over 4 hours to only put the bunk bed together and when my husband went to check there was a huge crack in one of the pieces & they put it together wrong. (It was put together upside down) they didnāt even say anything until my husband pointed out the crack in wood and asked for the instructions and pointed out it was put together incorrectly. At that point my husband asked them to take all the pieces apart and take it back because we were not accepting the bed since it was now broken. Well then we asked them about the hole in the wall and they said it happened when brining the bed up stairs ( it was an accident, we get it)we called the store and explained everything and the gentleman said they would order a new bed and have their guy come fix the hole. We followed up every week or so and they said they were trying to get the guy to come out. There was some miscommunication about a day and some follow up calls and now itās been since 23 AUG. The last conversation was OVER a week ago when I explained I had a 4 day coming up and would be best to do it then since my husband and I would be home for sure.
