Horrible customer service from a employee: One of the heavier set employees told us only 2 people are allowed to shop in the store at a time, due to recent shop lifting. He then proceeded to accuse me of leaving a giant mess in the store the last time I visited. Well, last time I visited, I had a hard time finding “matching” rain gear on the shelf because it was all out of place. When I tried explaining that to him, he just shook his head and continued to accuse me. So obviously I walked out. Also, rather than letting the other customer in the door when I left, seeing as there was only one customer in the store, the upset employee locked it behind me and left the guy outside.

I have been a day 1 customer, and have spent over $5k in this store since. I have had multiple great conversations with this employee in the past. I am not sure what he is upset about, but accusing and arguing with a customer, is not how you solve your problems. I manage a local business, and if I found out one of my employees ever talked to my customer the way I was treated today, they would be fired on the spot. Not impressed, management or owner needs to take care of this before the employee ruins...

I think the date I was there was January 9th around 1200. I was there on the Norwegian Jade Cruise Ship. The best thing I did in Juneau was visit the Ace Hardware because the customer service was so nice. Seriously, if you ever go yo Juneau, the number one thing to do is visit Ace Hardware just because the young fellow working the counter there was so friendly. Lorinda was extremely helpful, willing to go the extra distance to figure out the problem and provide he best possible solutions. She was very customer focused, pleasant, and offered suggestions along the way. I was so impressed with her helpful attitude and willingness to help.
