Customers should be more able to solve more of their own issues before going to a actual sales store, and not depend on reps for simple things. It seems the retail aspect of mobility sales is perceived as a service business (for free). A rep really is not there to reset passwords, demo one of the millions of apps or back up your iPhone, they work on commission in a high-pressure environment. The industry should not offer technical support as a way to promote store traffic and cater to the class of customer who needs the technology but is phobic about trying to learn and find their own solutions - at least 80% could just google the issue and find immediate steps to a solution. I've seen customers drive up and expect a rep to pair the phone to their car - come on go to your dealer! Overall, most major companies have figured out that the cell phone business is not profitable - that's why when you go retail, reps sell you on Uverse, security etc. Also, AT&T does NOT manufacture the phones, I like to see someone drive up to Best Buy and demand free service - you will immediately be pointed in the direction of Geek...

First time I went I was told I could bring in a trade in any phone any shape and get a credit on my account for the new phone I just got. Went back in and the person helping s did not know what to do and told us to come back. I went back a 3rd time with the trade in and the only gave me $7 credit. -again I was told to bring in another phone to get the most money credited. Any pixel phone in any condition. It was even advertised on the internet. Went back a 4th time and was told the phone I brought a pixel 5 wasn’t worth anything. I believe these people working at this store are not honest. They lied to me 3 times. Also the one guy was new and didn’t even know how to help us. I would avoid this store! If you’re thinking of switching from another provider. DONT! If youre an iPhone userer working in a store with other mobile operating systems such as Android, Windows and BlackBerry then there is No reason for customers to come in and not get good service.
