Update 7/14/25 Being a loyal customer does not matter here (Also, see Yelp and other reviews - Google seems oddly positive). Although I will not take back anything I have said previously, I am knocking off a couple points here out of principle. Apparently, there is a problem or shortage with the HQD Cuvie Plus vapes I am using. They are limiting these to 1 ea. per customer. I have been using this place for over a year now and (always) buy these in sleeves of 5 ea.. I was told I could only purchase 1 - Like, no offense, but really?? I asked that since I use them loyally, if they could see that my Purchase quantity was normal and not out of panic, but I was still told limit one each. I then explained that I could easily just have like 5 additional people come in for me and acquire them (practically) the same and was still told no (or that I could come back the next day). I am in distribution and I get (to a degree) not selling to the first person that comes in and wants to buy the surplus out, but what is the point of consistently supporting a local and small business if you are treated just like any tourist fresh off I-95 that's passing through. Needless to say, I found my sleeve elsewhere - AT A PLACE I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO that gave me NO issue whatsoever. even after telling them (this) story and giving them the opportunity to hoard and gouge their own supply.... Out of all fairness and the fact that my original review has nothing to do with this one, I'll leave it as originally written below for the masochist that wants to learn the hard way, but I see why places like Amazon rule over small Mom and Pop's. The passion and care simply does not exist anymore.
Original Review I'm not sure why this shop gets a lot of hate. I went in yesterday and BOTH gents working there were very helpful and frankly chill and respectful. The juice I left with is horrible and not even close to what I was looking for, but that might be on me providing a bad description of what I preferred. Non-sweet juices are very hard to find, and sine I like "Menthol" flavor (not SWEET mint), they might have simply not had inventory or misunderstood what I was looking for. Overall, I did NOT have a bad experience here and will vouch for this establishment being both solid and professional. Before we roast others, we should always do our own research first because the associates there are only as good as the information provided to them. If we give crap information, we will get crap results (referring to the juice, in my case, lol). Anyways, great shop, clean, professional, and contrary to what others have mentioned, they do not promote products there that they do not know all the information on. I asked about one piece and they immediately noted that they are not familiar to the piece but would figure it out; Lastly, yes, many of the products are non-returnable. They cannot re-sell something we sucked on for a bit. That is basic hygiene; Furthermore, yes, if we open a juice, we bought it. This PROTECTS PEOPLE and is not a sign of a bad establishment. Go return a half-smoked pack of cigarettes ANYWHERE and let me know how THAT works for you.... C'mon, people. Think before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter quitting vaping for a few years, then getting back into the trend as nicotine salts became much more well known and easily obtained, I decided to give Smoke Zone one more try.
Initially, my experience was excellent. A woman by the name of Cassie gave me great advice on which nic salt disposables were the best for flavor, bang for your buck, and length of use. In addition to having several solid suggestions on choices, she didn't spare any detail when it came to answering any questions, and ensured me all of the disposables her owner purchased were not counterfeit. Her kind and charismatic persona left me feeling like I could rely on Smoke Zone for all my smoking needs.
Several months and several hundred dollars later, I was still coming back. I always made it a point to come in when Cassie was there, as I'm sure many of you know, disposables ' quality and authenticity are constantly changing. At one point, a young man working there suggested I purchase a non-disposeable vape, which unfortunately didn't work out for me, but I'm sure he was being honest with his suggestion as this is his go to device (he would be smoking it nearly every time I came in and saw him working).
Then, about a week ago, I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an employee, from any store. This employee's name was Taylor.
Taylor was the "night manager", at least this evening. His attitude and body language screamed "I don't care, leave me alone, buy stuff or don't buy stuff, have a nice day". Taylor was, actually I should say IS, the epitome of a bum. His combination of extreme laziness, infantile behavior, and beyond rude comments made him, literally, the worst possible employee in any given business type or position.
Taylor not only gave me some of the worst advice on my non-disposeable I had purchased (despite my welcoming personality and my attempts at trying to relate to him, which was seemingly impossible), but took it several steps further. After only 10 minutes and $40 (spent) later, Taylor told me I needed to contact Cassie and he didn't know what else to say. More specifically, I remember him telling me word for word, "That's not my problem" after I had nearly begged him to help me with the several issues at hand (a counterfeit vape I has just bought minutes ago, an unusable device I had spent over $100 on in the past couple months, and a simple question asking him the brand of Delta 8 they sold).
He quickly stopped helping completely, acting as if I was not a customer who had just thrown down $40 in the past 10 minutes.
I truly hope this reaches as many of those looking for a quality vape shop as possible - you deserve better. This young man's, or teen's, attitude was simply unbelievable. I feel terribly sorry for Cassie for one, who has always gone above and beyond to make sure the customer feels they are choosing the right store - and then you have this punk. For the owner - As a business owner myself, I highly suggest you find other help - Taylor is the type of human being that can single handedly bring down (at least) the majority of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe guy who sold me the wrong coils, then denied he never could have made a mistake and told me to go write a bad review review as I left. So here I am! When a routine customer has an issue and then the worker walked away from them, when they are just explaining the problem and answered his questions calmly and truthfully, thatās rude. Being sold the product I did not ask for and then refusing to even acknowledge a mistake happen isnāt how to keep customers.. I donāt under why this company would mess up more than once and not learn. Iāll admit I wasnāt the happiest that the coil didnāt fit and it ended up leaking juice all over my hand after the money and issues Iāve had with smoke zone, but I was not rude or yelling at him. I was asking for solutions or options and was not upset until he denied again and again that he could never have accidentally grabbed the wrong pack and made it my problem while being aggressive from the time I walked in the door. All I wanted to know is if was the wrong coils and or if I was installing them wrong as I had just purchased the tank from smoke zone days before, and if there was if could be possible exchange them or buy a new pack. Iāve been given the wrong percentage for vape juice from smoke zone and the lady was very nice and just exchanged it. Yet this guy was so set on the fact that it could have never been him to make a mistake, cause he knows what coils work for it and walked away and told me to check my attitude when I asked to speak to the owner. When he was the one who got hostile when I just explained that I think I have the wrong coils and he asked who sold them to me and I said it was him... Itās always him and the guy with the long black hair that routinely mess up and are rude.Boy am excited to talk...
