This place is endearingly called Kalama Mart by my friends who live here. I have been here dozens of times while visiting from the East Coast. Honestly, as small town markets go, this is easily my favorite in the country, and I travel a LOT. I have to think hard to come up with a negative thing to say about good ol' Kalama Mart, and that is that their bathroom is probably, eternally, indefinitely, out of service, haha. This place is a staple of the town, and if it wasn't there, I would have to drive all the way to Kelso or Woodland for something as simple as eggs. Keep in mind the quality in most foods out there has secretely/drastically changed cuz of removed ingredients and false measurements since the pandemic. Go local through state and town. However, some of these choices are better than what you can get at the next closest supermarket...which is 10+ minutes away in Kelso or Woodland. Delicious local -baked Sourdough rolls, or the meat dept's sausages, for example. Prices are not really out-of-line to what the big guys sell. They take EBT.
