I recently had the pleasure of shopping at Murdoch's in Kalispell, Montana, and I must extend my heartfelt thanks to Steve and his colleagues in the gun department. Steve's customer service and knowledge are truly second to none. He went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, offering insightful suggestions that not only saved me money but also provided better solutions than I had initially considered. It's rare to find such a dedicated and helpful individual, and Steve exemplifies what exceptional customer service should be.
In addition to his professional expertise, I was deeply moved to learn that Steve has served in the military. This adds an extra layer of respect and gratitude for his service to our country. His dedication, both in his military service and at Murdoch's, is commendable. I believe Murdoch's should recognize Steve's outstanding contributions, whether through a raise or additional paid time off. Employees like Steve are invaluable, and their hard work should be acknowledged and rewarded.
Thanks to Steve and the team at Murdoch's, I have no hesitation in saying that I will prioritize shopping there for all my hunting needs. Their exceptional service and knowledgeable staff have earned my loyalty. If you’re in Kalispell and need assistance with firearms or hunting gear, I highly recommend visiting Murdoch's and asking for Steve. You won’t be...
Read moreThey didn't have what i needed in stock but found it for me and was able to provide exactly what I needed. Always love to look at the large variety of products they offer. Although I felt very awkward when a man who was stealing was tackled to the ground and I couldn't check out because the worker went to hold him down as well. Definitely use excessive force if you ask me! There was also an incident where an elderly gentleman tripped over a pallet at the front of the store and was bleeding everywhere. The employees just stood there and looked until I suggested they get a supervisor and a first aid kit. It was actually pretty upsetting. There also was a time where they were following me around the store like I was going to put a bag of dog food in my pocket!?! I have a shopping problem not a theft problem people!!! Also, was not impressed at their ability to take care of their chicks. They obviously had piles of fecal matter (the chicks) and were on their way to being impacted and now I understand why the chicks die when coming from there. Now that I think of all these incidents.... Hmmm... I might change stores and my rating! Overall I guess the bad Evans out...

Sadly, we have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at this store. Typically we buy all our firearms from Murdoch’s, but on Father’s Day we purchased a Kimber pistol for bear hunting. We took it out and the bullets wouldn’t feed into the chamber. We have always had a great relationship with everyone in the gun dept, always throwing in freebies considering the amount of money we had been spending. We brought the gun back asking them to fix it. They told us we were out of luck. They had talked us into this specific gun, we originally were going to purchase a 45 Kimber but David was really pushing the Kimber 10mm… it was $500 more then the one we were going to purchase but David and Buck continued to push the more expensive one..we caved. We in-fact are out $1400. If I can encourage you to do anything it would be to absolutely not purchase any firearm from Murdoch’s. I would HIGHLY recommend Machines Guns Montana, or Scheels. It’s not worth it to waste $1400 for a...
