Ah Claire's - it brings back such fond memories. We had it in the shopping malls when I was a kid. Shopping malls - not even outdoors like plaza or Zona - but real inside places with fountains. Even then it was cool with replica jewelry for teeny boppers and pre-teens and the place you got your ears devirginized! First time earrings - yes that was the place! And now - it is one of my favorite place for candy balms. Ok this place may be for young girls and teenagers mainly but it has some items that are very cute and can easily be appealing to adults - even novel purses. I once got a purple chair there - still have it and love it. And when my ears needed stitches and I had to get repierced - guess where I went - but Claire's of course. What a great concept. I will never go here again. I got screwed out of my 5.00 reward they sent me in an email. The clerk was very nice but she didn’t ring up all my hair goodies and I got overcharged. Went back in got it refunded and bought them again. The next lady said I couldn’t use my 5.00 reward cause once it’s used you don’t get it back. I understand the First Lady made a mistake but to not give someone their reward back is just not nice for the customers. I will no longer shop here if that’s how customers are treated. They need more than one person working. You will be waiting 30+ min for help while they pierce ears. Then bam some kid walks in and also is getting their ears pierced.
