Mochinut Zona Rosa — Restaurant in Kansas City

It was our first time at this establishment. We ordered 3 donuts which were packed individually in three separate containers and just handed to us. After finally getting the attention of the workers behind the counter, we asked for a bag to put them in and was given a bag. They seemed to busy talking amongst themselves to see that my son was waiting at the counter to ask for a bag. We also orders a Dubai chocolate cup and was handed to us a few minutes later in an open container with just a fork in it. We asked for a lid so we could put it in our bag and take it home as this was a TO GO order. We also ordered 2 Korean corn dogs which came a few minutes after that and were also just handed to 2 containers and again we asked for another bag to put them in, as again......it was a TO GO order. I don't know how they expected us to walk out of there holding 6 containers and not offering a bag to put them in or even recognizing that we may need them. Maybe they were too busy socializing with each other to pay attention to the customers needs. From the moment I walked in, the sweet aroma of freshly made donuts filled the air, and I knew I was in for a treat. The mochi donuts are soft, chewy, and perfectly sweet, with just the right amount of flavor in each bite. They have such a fun variety of unique flavors that I couldn’t stop myself from trying a few different ones – HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE UBE!!!!

The staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a warm donut with some boba. Honestly, I’ve never had anything quite like these donuts before, and I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. If you love mochi or donuts (or both!), do yourself a favor and try this place – you won’t regret it!

My fiancé, Steven and I have been DYING to try korean corn dogs, and he found this location while looking for a new place to try..we drove 45 minutes to come to this location and it was SO WORTH IT!!! we got 4 different korean corn dogs, a tiger latte, a dubai chocolate strawberry cup, and a strawberry mochi donut…every item we received was a 10/10. we are convinced that everything on the menu is a 10/10. if the food wasn’t a good enough reason to stop in, the atmosphere and customer service definitely is! the man who helped us tonight, (we regrettably didn’t catch his name, but we think he’s the owner) was so awesome! he engaged in conversation with us, and made us feel very comfortable, with it being our first time there. we are already planning our next trip in! thank you guys for being...
