I order prints from this Staples frequently, but the experience continues to get worse. The store often opens late, and thereās consistently a long line with little to no urgency from the team. The staff routinely blames being āshort-staffed,ā but after months of the same issue and printed signs all over the store making excuses, itās clear this is a leadership/ accountability/ culture problem, that is causing a staffing one.
Even as a regular customer, Iāve encountered rude service. I place online print orders with guaranteed pickup times, but theyāre rarely ready when I arrive. Some of these items are time-sensitive, and by the time theyāre finally done, I no longer need them.
You also canāt get in-person help at the print counter anymore. If your order wasnāt placed online, youāre out of luck. On my most recent visit, I had to leave and go to FedEx instead, where the staff was helpful, fast, and polite.

I literally had to tell them I needed help with a print job. Their reply "You're gonna help yourself on the machines." And they pointed. So I told them some of my job was difficult, to which they said "The machine will walk you through it." I went to the machine and started figuring it out on my own, but as soon as I started printing, the machine got a huge jam. I was already frustrated and short on time, but went to the counter to tell them. As soon as I got up there, I was greeted with "What? You already broke it?!?" By this time I should have just gotten my papers and left, but instead stared at that employee and said, I came here for help. And I'm Not getting it. I didn't break your machine. Please do this job because that is why I came here. For help." She did the job in silence and didn't even offer any apology. I definitely won't come here again. There are much better stores...

Today I arrived to pick an order that per the person working at the print location was supposed to be ready Monday at 6pm. That is not what I remember from our conversation when I placed the order. The print person did eventually call the production facility and find out what caused the delay and was working with the team there to have my order shipped out today for our event in two days. Nothing like cutting it close to cause unnecessary panic!
I was offered an additional discount for our -$600 order, but a bit of urgency would have been appreciated.
