I think I had just about the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life.
So wings come out cold, no big deal so I asked to have them sent back; Server had a bit of an attitude, whatever.
Same cold wings are brought back, only now they were respun in sauce. I would have asked my server to do anything with it, but he went missing for the next hour or so.
The rest of my party finished their food, time to get the check since I didn’t want to eat anyways.
Server still missing, so I went to the bartender to ask for my server, different server comes to get the check. Then our original server brings the check back, says nothing could be taken off. So I asked for the manager. Manager comes to our table... As I explain the situation to her, I hear the server using foul language to my party about me. Manager didn’t hear this as she was engaged in conversation with me, and she goes off and takes 25% off of the wing order, not the tab but just the wing order. AND THEN HAS THE SERVER BRING IT BACK, who I’m sick of at this point.
At this point I’ve had terrible service, waited an hour+ to get my check, heard my server use foul language towards my party, had poor manager intervention, and just wanted to leave. So I put $40 on the table, which was generous it this point, and with the server standing over our shoulder I went straight to find the manager.
THIS IS WHERE IT GETS WORSE.
The server physically stops us in the middle of the restaurant for not paying the whole check because he thought we were leaving. As he gets in front of us, I tell him I’m tired of dealing with him and to get the manager. He started yelling for the manager across the restaurant, as he’s been yelling the whole time. While waiting for the manager, he starts asking my little brother where he goes to school, how he knows me etc, tells us he’s shaking and acts like he’s about to hit us. Manager finally comes, i re-explain the situation to her and she says I can’t under pay and leave, (which is totally fine), so I hand her $10 which puts us well over the bill. Manager hands us what I paid back to me, and the server grabs the $50 from her and takes off with it.
And honestly I’m fine with paying $50 if it means I won’t have to worry about that psycho maniac trying to track myself or any member of my party down.
All in all absolutely avoid this restaurant. Not only will you experience bad food, bad service, or bad management, you may run the risk of bodily harm if you have a...
Read moreI'm going to operate off of the assumption that my experience was not the fault of the employee/server in this specific case. she was very nice to us every time we spoke, and seemed understanding and troubled that our food was taking so long. what I'm assuming the issue here was, was that this location is either severely understaffed or management did not think to schedule enough people (odd, considering this was a Sunday afternoon) to be able to clear tables, run food, greet customers, etc. At any given time i could only see 2-4 servers on the floor which is not enough for a whole dining room.
It took us a good few minutes to be able to find a table that was actually clean to sit and eat at, other groups that came in after us had the same issue, some even cleared a table themselves. Once we did find a clean table, it didn't take long for our server to greet us, get our order, and bring us our drinks, but it did take an absurdly long time (roughly 20-25 min) for us to actually get the food that we ordered.
Now if we were a large group or ordered a lot of items then i could understand waiting for awhile, but we were a two top and we ordered 10wings and the bottomless apps. It shouldn't have taken nearly that long to get our food and on top of that our food came out cold. not luke-warm, could be better but still not bad, but like it was ready after 5min and was sitting in the window for 15-20min ice cold. it was like eating leftovers that you don't want to take the time to heat up cause you're starved and want it now.
now the second set of apps we got did come out to us much faster but they were still just lukewarm, still a considerable step up from cold though so i guess you could give them that.
overall not a good experience, kinda sucked when you would be sitting there for awhile and tables that ordered burgers, apps, and wings got their food before you even though you ordered first. again, I'm not going to jump to the conclusion that it was the servers fault, we still tipped her cause that's her livelihood but we will not be going back to this location; you're better off going to chilis in liberty
and yes, buffalo, before you answer i did fill out the online form already with relatively...
Read moreBuffalo Wild Wings does not even offer their guests menus anymore. You walk in and it's "open seating," in the middle of the table there is a plastered sign that says scan QR code, look at menu, order, and pay here. "All in one place" like it's a cool thing, it's not. So we were already there and sitting we decided to stay. We ordered 4 waters and cheese curds at the same time. Waters literally never came. Cheese curds came out just fine, not a word was said from the food runner, just walk, dropped off and kept walking. No napkins, silverware, no drinks. We munched on our cheese curds and talked as a family. Our appetizer was finished, still no water. So me being mom, I got up and walked to the drink station and asked if we needed to get our own drinks as well. The server asked where I was sitting, I showed her. She then told me our table was never assigned a server. After 30 minutes, at minimum of being there. So while we had been waiting we ordered, food came out, quantities and sauces all wrong but we just kept our mouths shut because there wasnt anyone to complain to to fix it. My 9 year old ate my dinner. I had carrots and celery and left overs at home. Finally after the lady I talked to about drinks got us our 4 waters and napkins, she had someone bring us silverware but we only ever got 3 forks, for 4 people. And the check was on the QR code too and the automatic amount set for a tip was 22% Don't get me wrong, I have worked in food and currently work in retail so I completely understand rude people and working with the public yadda yadda. However. Our meal was 99 bucks. So almost $22 dollars to tip something/someone when I literally walked to go get water myself and put my own order in is asinine.
I will never return to Buffalo Wild Wings. This...
