This target has usually been a good experience, but lately I’ve found that staff are not as friendly or helpful as they could be. A cashier named Tina, in particular, was very rude to my wife when we were checking out this afternoon. My wife has the Target app, and had discounts from Cartwheel, as well as a credit from the Target Wallet, and when Tina scanned the app’s barcode the first time and provided the total, my wife mentioned that she’d like to use the credit from her Target Wallet. Tina took a condescending tone and said ā€œI can’t; I’ll have to rescan everything,ā€ acting very put out. What a frustrating, embarrassing and disappointing experience at a place that I otherwise usually enjoy visiting.

This store just spent probably a million dollars on a complete store remodel. I've lived here for 8 years in the neighborhood and spend A LOT of time and money at this location. The remodel of the customer service desk was completed with a beautifully crafted "Exchanges and Returns" sign as you can see in this photo I took; however I was told today.... "we don't do exchanges; our policy has changed".... so after a million dollar remodel with a sign that includes your policy..... its now something different. Twighlight ZONE. Seriously.

Great store. Was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The store did seem to have many empty spaces. They did however have some different collectible toys that I have not seen at other stores (i. e. Wal-Mart). Did pick up many items that were more obscure from brands such as Hasbro, NECA and McFarlane to name a few. Even found a cool mini fridge with a Minecraft design that my daughter just loves.

Target….5 Stars for customer service! Today, my daughter and I ventured out to find a specific product that we know Target has. Well, to be fair, online it said it was available. 4 Targets later we end up at this location. The product I was looking for was on an endcap. Unfortunately, the color I wanted was not there. Before I continue, I must say, this was the fourth target we went to today. Every other target it was the same situation. When asked if they may have others available In the store, we were always told no. Nothing that made us feel like customer service went above and beyond, but it was a pleasant interaction.

Everything changed at the Chouteau location!

Found the product and it was the same situation…not the color I needed. The specific endcap where the product was located there were two girls working, Madi and Ashley P (yes, I asked their names). There was a cart of boxes directly in front of the endcap. I thought it may be worth asking if there were more in the boxes. The girls asked specifically what I was looking for, and I had told them about my journey. Madi says she has a seen a few in back. Longer story short…. She probably spent over 20 Minutes in the back and came out with multiple choices. My daughter and I had gotten a phone number from another customer that we met at a different location and we’re able to call her and let her know she could also come pick one up and she did! It’s Christmas, and more often than not we forget to be kind. Not these girls.. Even if they didn’t have the product, they made me feel like they were putting in the extra effort. Thank you so much! Management, I hope you praise...

I went to Target on Saturday evening and bought a single bottle of nail polish, checking out at the self-checkout quickly and leaving. On Sunday, the next day, I was checking my bank activity and saw a charge of over $200 on my account from Target. I, thankfully, still had my receipt from the evening before, and when I checked it I saw that I indeed had paid over $200 for someone's grocery list - someone had scanned their items and left, and I in my rush had not realized. I was freaking out and nervous that the employees at Target wouldn't believe me/think I was scamming them, but I went back to the store to try and get my money back. I first talked with Brett and guest services, and he listened to my story and was super kind and reassuring that we would get this figured out. He called in Katie, who listened again and also was kind and wanted to help. I had to wait for their AP to get off break so that he could check the cameras and confirm my story, and while I was waiting Katie was checking in on me and offering me water, and Brett was kindly talking with me while he worked. Eventually, Isaiah the AP came in and heard my story and after asking a few questions went to the back. Not long after, Katie came back and confirmed they were going to be able to refund me. While typing this story can't convey much, I just want to say a huge thank you to Brett, Katie, and Isaiah for how they listened to me and sought to help me instead of being skeptical or...

As I was walking around shopping, looking for certain items like people do I noticed I was being followed by a Target employee suffering from severe facial eczema. She was obviously an employee wearing the usual Target shirt and had the radio clipped to her belt and shoulder. Someone talking to her over the radio with saying, ā€œ keep staying with her.ā€ I ignored the fact she was obviously being told to follow me for some reason. As I turned around she was literally standing directly behind me I could have stepped on her. So I politely asked her if she knew anything about the new hair product for curly hair that Target just got in, because I can’t find it. She said, ā€œI’m not sure what you’re talking about, and she led me to the hand lotions? She then proceeded to act like she was facing the small hand lotions and just walked away!! As I was walking around the store getting my items I came there for, there were several teenagers being loud throughout the store and two middle school boys running around the store! Now do you think anyone of Target staff addressed these issues?!? Not a single one! Let’s make it a point to focus on the person that is actually doing shopping, but taking their time while doing it! Makes sense to me!? NOT! Talk about having your safety priorities backwards! I’m all about quality control if I’m I were the type of person to do that, but I’m not!! Let’s get it together TARGET and train your...
