IHOP — Restaurant in Kansas City

The New IHOP on 29th and Burlington is the worst IHOP I have Ever Been Too...I'd give them NO STARS IF THE SITE WOULD ALLOW..we get there and are seated quickly and told our server will be over soon its a table to the left with 3 people another table right behind them with 2 people and center left with 2 more people. I see a male waiter he is bringing food out to the waiting customers...we've been sitting for about 10 minutes and no one has brought us a glass of water or even acknowledged our presence 🤔 so I wait about 5 more minutes then I approach the young lady that sat us and she says I'm sorry you haven't been served and that the guy I see serving people is out waiter ...he then says to me the manager just walked out and it's just me here which wasn't true there were at least 5 people there walking around...he says I will get to you when I can...no apology...no water..no ANYTHING..I sit and watch him run back and forth to the 3 tables. Asking them over and over again if they need anything else STILL hasn't brought us any water or taken our order...so again I approached him and then he says I don't, know when or if I'll be able to take YOUR ORDER..so I said you have already served them and you could've taken our order and brought us water but you keep asking them if they need more stuff and they aren't even asking for anything...he then says he is too busy to serve us.....I couldn't believe how rude and ridiculous he was...like he couldn't chew gum and walk at the same time! We Got up and walked out! Worst experience EVER IF I can put ZERO STARS I WOULD. I went with my 4 yr old son, my 1 year old daughter, my 10yr old nephew and my 81 yr old grandmother. We got there at 9:20 Am did not get seated until 10:15 Am. Tried to stay patient since my nephew has never been to IHOP and I live right behind one. After waiting patiently to be seated no host to determine who was next even though my name and party was on the sheet, that someone from the kitchen wrote down and left unwatched. Other families complained since a lot of tables were open and no one was getting seated. Also people getting there just walked over to sit themselves in a table and skipping people that was waiting to be seated. I had enough complained and we got seated took another 20 mins for orders to be taken. The waitress apologized, I told her its fine. After waiting with 3 kids and ederly without any coloring menus since they had none an hour and 14 mins later no one was bringing our food. The floors dirty from previous customers dirty napkins in the ground. Sticky tables from not being cleaned, we got told our orders were lost had to be re-order again. By 11: 49 am my little ones were crying and really hungry. I told waitress I could not wait any longer and can wait to re-order again since she said everyone's food was delayed in the restaurant, this is freaken CRAZY. I will Never go to this place again this was ridiculous to an extreme that passed my patience. Horrible customer service, cleanliness was not good as well. People had bad attitudes that worked there and could not get me a booster for my little one. Not people friendly and need to be inspected for dirtiness. I am glad we did...

Me and my girl went here for the limitless pancakes, that was all, and our experience was awful. We went in around 12-1ish on a Saturday, and the initial wait wasn't too bad. I tried to tell our hostess right away we were only doing the all you can eat pancakes to minimize wait time and make sure they could get us done quick and easy. Had to wait for another server regardless, and when she finally took our order it took 20+ minutes to get us both five pancakes. 25 minutes for 10 pancakes in an IHOP that wasn't even half full? Inexcusable. When we finally got our pancakes we went to put syrup on them and they had water in the top of them, so when we went to pour it on our pancakes we got a syrup/dishwater mix instead. I brought this up to the hostess and she disappeared again, so as we were waiting on our refill of pancakes I went to another table to get another set of syrup only to find the same problem. I was getting pretty disgruntled and tried to tell the hostess and she totally disregarded it saying the manager was notified, not even looking at the other syrup with water in them. Now I was upset. But because I was still hungry I stayed, that was the last mistake. On my last bout of pancakes I was ripping into them so we could get out of there asap, and halfway through them I bite into pancake batter. We got up and left. I told the server about it and she said "Well you guys ordered so many we tried to get them out quick". They're PANCAKES. How hard is it to cook a pancake all the way through??
