UPDATE: My first experience was so good that I decided to go back for an actual Brazilian Blowout. If you've EVER had a negative experience with Brazilian Blowout, then please give this place a try. I've had a couple of BB's in the past (different salons) and I ended up with dandruff, itchy skin, damaged hair, and even some residual frizz 😐 Chealsea did my BB a few days ago and WOW... my hair actually looks & feels healthier! I was able to do my hair in less than 15 minutes this morning... and I even had time to stop for a latte on my way to work! If you're a chronically late individual with poofy hair, then please go see Chelsea for a BB!! The treatment is pricey, but definitely worth it when it's done by an experienced/talented stylist!

I have never had a haircut that "made me feel like a different person" before; but I can truly say that I have now! I did a search for the best hair salon in KC and read the reviews for The Hair KCMO and made my appointment. I have not had a haircut/professional color since 2020, and I really just felt like a frumpy middle-aged lady. I stepped in the studio and immediately was greeted with kindness and made to feel welcome. Olivia was my stylist, and she listened to what I was thinking about for a cut and color, she made suggestions, and ultimately gave me the best look I have had in my entire life! The whole experience was wonderful, the other stylists treat each other with respect and care, and the entire place is funky and cool.
