First time visit today with my art club. The atmosphere was great. Comfy chairs and the music was a reasonable volume. Lots of options to sit in or outside. Comfy temperature inside. However my ordering experience was less than stellar. The one gal I first talked to was extremely quiet and when I asked "What is the sugar alternative option?" She only gestured vaguely at the bottles of syrups which were too far away to read clearly. When I clarified I need to know what the sweetener is due to allergens, she did thankfully allow me to read the ingredients when she wasn't sure of the answer. I asked for the Velvet Caramel sugar free version, which is a necessity for my dietary needs (prediabetic), and i was told that wasnt an option despite it being on the menu marked as such. She traded places with a different coworker who took my order but failed to give me a receipt w/ wifi password and assured me i could have my doetary restriction included in the drink. At noon on a Saturday they had three or four orders on the board but were not slammed by any means and I waited 15 minutes nearby for my single drink. After they handed out everyone else's orders and I am visibly standing there with no beverage they asked me "Are you waiting on something?" At which point I quite plainly said "I never got my drink." And the three coworkers all looked between each other panicked for a moment before one of them retrieved my drink they had put in a fridge out of sight. The sticker did indicate the correct milk but not sugar free. I sat down and sipped my beverage for a short while and I had a sneaking suspicion it was too sweet to be th alternative sugar substitute. I was correct because after sitting and sipping slowly over the next hour or so, I left and had a blood sugar crash shortly there after. I did not feel comfortable to correct the issue due to the attitude and approach of the staff.
This place seems wonderful and my friends visit often so i do want to give them another chance but I was urged by my spouse to write this experience in review form so anyone else can be cautious. It was tasty and well balanced coffee, the place was great... but the fact is I felt quite dismissed and potentially inattentive staff could be a problem if you have very particular dietary needs. Proceed with caution. Will...

I feel a little bit conflicted, knowing that this is a new business that I love for the area giving it a 2 star rating. I placed a pick up order(1298755503) this morning, giving the store a one hour notice for one coffee traveler and ice latte and a breakfast burrito. I even received a text at 7:27 notify me that my order was ready so I was a little bit surprised at 7:35 when I arrived at my pick up time to find that it was not ready at all, At least the coffee traveler wasn’t. I waited on that comfy sofa near the entrance for another 20 minutes until 7:55 for the partially filled coffee traveler That is definitely making me late to work today. It turns out my iced latte and burrito had been sitting on the counter for 30 minutes or so, which would’ve been nice to know whenever I was waiting for the rest of the order. It was at that point I didn’t have time to ask them to remake the melted iced coffee that cost almost $10 and I’m probably not gonna eat the Burrito that has also just been sitting out. I would appreciate a partial refund at least at this point Since I left the melted ice latte on the counter And did not receive the full amount of coffee in the coffee traveler. I hope that your shop works on order management a little bit better in the future and consider timing of different things within in order to make sure everything is done at the same time and also consider that pick up orders for coffee travelers are probably going to somebody’s job or office and having the order ready 20 minutes late is something that you should notify the customer in advance of so that they can plan...
Read moreIt’s okay. Seems like fewer options compared to Mother Earth (what used to be here) overall it’s decent coffee. Better than going to union busting Starbucks.
The menu drinks are nice but there’s nothing with mocha flavorings. I wanted a cold brew but it was very busy and they had ran out. I opted for a Americano cold w/2 extra espresso shots & mocha flavoring. Pretty much what I wanted although a few extra steps lol. I’d come back on another lazy weekend. 3 stars becase they don’t accept cash, a lack of mocha/chocolate based menu drinks and small overall selection/variety of drinks. Perfect for real deal Coffee snobs that order specific drinks that will be the same anywhere, not really user friendly for a casual coffee drinker. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get a bunch of deer in headlight folks.
Lastly, my coffee was $4.95 after tax. It felt foolish not just handing over my 5 dollar bill and I would have left a more generous tip than inconveniencing my bank account for $4.95; surely I wasn’t going to use any credit cards, so I was forced to use a bank card for such a insignificant sum. Plus there wasn’t a tip jar for cash. It’s so annoying places are moving away from cash. Cash is king, better pray you don’t have an internet or payment...
